I can't really give an accurate comment on the behavior of the ultras since I've only been to the Curva Sud once for the recent game against Udinese.

From my personal experience, it was excellent since Diavolo, Il Barone and some of the Curva guys made me felt like I was at home. Of course, you could say the Curva was in a celebratory mood the whole afternoon due to the fact that we've scored 5 goals that day.

It was some experience I'll never forget and I'll definitely return to the Curva again someday

i don't want to influence anyone with my personal view, maybe i've been unlycky and what was an awesome experience ended badly.
But my personal view is proved by 2 seasons of matches on regular basis. Nothing compared to the life long attendance of Diavolo, for ex., but still enough to get a detailed idea of the whole Curva crowd.

More: Laudrup came for the derby, Billy Montreal for Milan- Juve last year and both witnessed episode of thuggish behaviour for ridiculous reasons. Franco's friends were with me during Milan-Manchester.

I've been enthusiastic of the curva but i must admit that it's not all as rosey as many would think.

I just found out that another reason why the FDL folded. It was because some hardcore fans in the game against Cagliari abused Galliani and spat on him.

All supporter groups like the Brigate all had a meeting and said we want the FDL out. They were getting sick of them

1. don't ever_steal_ banners, so they are not won after a decent battle>so you can't show them in public ever, like this time Fdl capos showed and did in match Milan-Juve last october. 14 who knew, and some 4986 didn't..

2. don't **** with Viking Juve (Milano, this time) this unmanly way.

3. don't lose your _away_banner like Fossa did (even the situation was 10:1, armed with knifes etc.) after the away game against PSV.

4. don't call digos_ever_> you lose your "face", like chinese/asians do..after having lost your own _away_banner (this is the most important and wanted by other rivals).

This is The real incorrect estimate what has happened. and not informing other main groups until the contact to digos had been made and you've lost your face, like they say.

two textiles together (totally three), unmeasurable value..if you lose your own flag and sign, it's finished. punto. your own group is finished, where first to everything you are loyal, always.

i am really pissed of what has happened. no signs, no news, nothing's positive in this, even my positive mind has become more sad the more i think and know about this disaster. if the curva sud is silent (without Fdl's 5000), and empty, no passionate support, irony, tifo, (smokes, restricted..) that is the end of old-school football, soccer calcio, whatever you call it, or name it. the most beautiful game it is or used to be, with its real passionate supporters, who do it with their hearts and soul. not by money, style and always changing mode.

qualcosa dentro di me è cambiato,radicalmente..

^^^ Very fullfilling post.
The Curva will survive, the younger together with a number of old Curva members will keep it alive, despite the tragic events, time to move on, a considerable number of fossaioli were at the brn meeting last night booking their derby ticket.

Above all
Forza Milan

Would some of the old FLD members will join the Brigate?

I can confirm 100% what Giova is saying. I when ever I went in the Curva at San Siro one of our friends during Milan-Roma was going to get beaten just cuz he threw a plastic bottle there where about 5 or 6 monsters ready for fight (Remember Gio? lol)

In Milan-Manchester I wasn't there but some of my friends where at the San Siro with Gio and one of our friends got beaten without mercy by them. The problem is that you can do nothing cuz they come 4 vs 1 and if 3 stand for that 1, other 10 will come to defend the 4.

In Milan-Juve the same.... some guys went to beat someone for a reason which I don't know, the fight was a bit distant.

I'm not saying that I'm not going to the Curva, but when you go on regular basis like Giova used to do, in the end you say that you're risking your life for nothing and if they beat you or your firends, these 'criminals' may even force you to hate the team.

Hi, after one year I had to register new time and I am using the same user name like last time, but this time with small letters. A passionate rossoneri & Milan supporter since the 1987, heart says and the rest will be the same. Also been a supporting member of Brigate, always. But..I am sad.

Anyway: I am interested (living in far away Finland, visited Italy many time, also San Siro..) what is your opinion that will Curva Sud Rossonera re-unite, be together as always, because what I have read from various forums (tifonet, milanworld, newspapers, all italian) that saddness was the only expression what everyone saw yesterday (Milan-Lecce, first time for 37 years without the flags of Fossa). Mini-fight on the second orange and utterly silence and saddness, no kasino...

Tutto finito? Oppure..no.

Giovanni, what do you think?

I'm not following up this issue closely, cause i have short daily connection time , but it's not unlikely the Fossa will come back but totally renewed. I think there was a sort of rendez vous in Milan when all the Milan Curva chiftains and old members gathered in a park and had a dramatic discussion. It is said some people got beaten up, but i cannot confirm and declare my ignorance about this subject. These are just rumours. It wouldn't surprise me though.

But take my words with the due caution, cause i have to get informed before. Maybe in the next days i will read something about it.
Diavolo, living in Milan, could give us extra infos.

BTW Gio, are you coming for the derby
I'll have VIP's seats for the Old Guerriero from Torino

Latest: Apparently it's indeed a so long to Fossa I can only add that all the old guys are extremely pissed off and were willing to put things together claiming back the striscione (banner), but at present, it looks way beyond possible.

Anyhow
Forza Milan

P.S. Gio, se vieni all festa fammi sapere.

mate thank you so much but i have a decisive exam on dec 14th (not the last one though, the list is still long Jan/ feb/ March/ April and May are fully booked as well ) so i will barely manage to watch the game, let alone coming there.

My only free time will be in London at the end of the year..ti lascio immaginare che razza di delirio scatenerò

Diavolo, I read the message at www.fdl.it, and a good part of this thread and I still don't understand what the big problem at Fossa is...

Would you be so kind to let me know, even if in just a couple of lines, why it went away?
