Minority Shares Sold!
Update:
The group lead by the Thai businessman is going to buy 48% of Milan for around €480 million. The next eight weeks will be spent finalizing the agreement. Silvio Berlusconi has pledged to keep the majority share forever. Bee Taechaubol and various backers, the most public of which is Doyen sport investment group claim to want to promote the Milan brand and return the team to the top.
Many details such as the source of the €480 million and what will happen on the sporting front remain unknown. For now it seems very likely that the planned appointment of ex-Sampdoria coach and once Inter player Sinisa Mihajlovic will go ahead and Pippo Inzaghi will be officially released next week.
