In my opinion it would require atleast 4 seasons at CL to reach atleast to have a Merda level team with this ownership.

Of course not ,but I see (not particulary here) that big chunk of fans think that's exactly what happend when referee blowed final whistle during Atalanta game.
Giroud angered by Chelsea's decision to trigger a contract extension. Still wants to leave.
I don't know if it'll take 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 years of consistent CL money and exposure to solidify our finances and get back to levels of the past. But the key is that we need to consistently be involved in the top European competition.
The issue I see is too much emphasis (from fans) is being put on us being competitive in the CL this coming season. Too many comments like "we can't go into the CL with this squad, or this signing, etc, etc". BUT, the most important part here, is that first part I said.....making it back to the CL consistently. And THAT, should be the focus. We should be improving the team responsibly with the 1st thing in mind being Serie A, not the CL. From that point on, what happens in the CL next season, happens.
You don't have to tell me what Milan represents. I get it. I don't want Milan participating in competitions. I want Milan entering competitions with one goal, and that's to win them. But we can not lose sight of reality. We are not there and we have to take it 1 step at a time. If we try to skip a step, I think we risk falling back into a hole. So although it may be frustrating to see the links we are seeing, and fully knowing that with those players....we're likely just a CL participant...I'm ok with it. As long as the vision is that we'll get there responsibly without cutting corners.
Our goal is get the 16 stage.
We shouldn't care about coppa italia.
And we should battle for top 3.
In 5 years we should be final 8 in cl
And have one at least one scudetto
Being in pot 4, even with a good mercato, we have to be realistic. Most important to is to get back to CL and show improvement in CL and Serie A.
Being realistic, we would end up 3rd in the group, until unless we are grouped together with Lille and Zenit but our foremost priority should be finishing Top 3 in league and demarcating current players based on Milan level or not and starter material or back up material and subsequently replace them in coming transfer windows, honestly it's not possible in one single window. Management need to have a table talk with Pioli and his staff about the choices that he/they often makes in matches between the players.

a season long fighting , bleeding, to get into the group stage of the CL and then end up being 3rd or 4th is NOT Milan material. Apply for a membership in an Inter forum dude
Seems like we're window-shopping in Madrid. Reports that we could try to exploit our good relations with Real which probably are even better now with Ancelotti there. Nine (!) names mentioned as possible targets:
Nacho, Odriozola, Ceballos, Isco, Asensio, Brahim Diaz, Mariano Diaz, Kubo and Jovic.

Consistently out of UCL in 8 seasons is also not Milan material. Yet it happened. What's your point?
