How about both Ibra and Aubameyang. Now THAT'S a partnership to be feared by anyone.

But yes, I more or less agree Ryo.

Whether 70mil for him will be good business or not, only time will tell. If he bangs in 25-30 Serie A goals, than it'll be well worth it.

I don't know if Auba is the best choice. He certainly is my personal choice out of what is on the table right now.

I do admit that Diego Costa is an enticing option...especially when we might even have the possibility to take him on a loan (with more time that passes by in the transfer market) as Conte wants him gone and Costa wants to leave as well. This is a great option not only because of Costa, but because it possibly leaves us with a significant budget to add another important midfielder or a winger.

I agree. Dortmund is 100% a selling club and always have been and will have to be if they want to compete.
Auba is 28, if they don't cash in on him this year they'll miss the boat. Can they afford to throw away 60-70m?

Would you guys take Cavani?? I know he's 30 but he might leave if PSG sign Neymar. He knows Serie A and has a star status and most importantly could guarantee us a lot of goals?

RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - WCmilan - 07-31-2017

TBH, my top choice right now is becoming Diego Costa if theres the possibility

One is LW, The other one is striker. They have nothing to do with each other.

Yet, l'd spend 60-70 m euros for Draxler, who really matured well at PSG.

RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - Rimini - 07-31-2017

Ronaldo is already 33, other than selling products to his fans, l don't think his signing will benefit us. assuming that he will be a Madrid player until he is 41.

İbrahimovic? No thanks. We already have Silva as back up striker. so l can't find the reason why we should pay high wages for him. also he won't accept 3rd striker role with that ego.

Verratti? After PSG signing Neymar, signing him will be more imposible. so forget him.

mine also would be him. Yet it's said he wants A.Madrid move. He is also better suited to our game plan than Aubameyang or Kalinic.

My first choice would be Belotti, then D.Costa.

btw, l just read that Ancelotti said that Sanches would stay with them until the last day of transfer market. l reckon that they will look at how he will get playing time, then will loan him to a Bundesliga team. so wasting time with him is enough. Let's try for other targets. Kovacic or Belgian player.

RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - Hitman - 07-31-2017

My top choice at the beginning of the summer was Aguero. Second was Alexis and third Diego Costa.

If we have any chance of signing any of the three, it would truly be a dream. I can't see Ibra coming here and playing in a striking partnership.. Ibra forced Cavani to play RW and Edison is a pure, pure, pure CF. Ibra will do that at any club he goes to and thats why Barcelona sold him, he couldn't adapt to Messi so he needed Messi to adapt to him and that's a no-go for them.

No to Ibra from one of his major fans.

We need a striker to compliment Andre Silva. That's a very important word I bolded because you can't just bring in any solid striker and hope they'd form a formidable duo with Silva, that just won't work. Mirabelli has so brilliantly signed players that compliment each other in the squad so far. Everything has been well thought out so far - well except the signing of Bonucci which was forced us to reevaluate a few things. For starters, we lost 40m of our budget and secondy, we may need to move to a 352/343 permanently to fit our two new fullbacks, two new CBs and Romagnoli. The fullbacks we bought are absolutely indispensable, Musacchio + Bonucci bring in much needed experience and Romagnoli needs to grow.

Andre Silva looks like a pure #9 to me. He's a centre forward. I don't know if he can coexist with another CF without needed to move him to the wing. IMO, moving him to the wing would be a very bad move. He's done so well in his very short professional career as a striker and we would be so wrong to move him out of position just to fit in our new star striker. Yes Andre Silva will need time to adapt but he will also need playing time for him to adapt... playing time in the right position so we can get the best out of him. In my opinion, Diego Costa + Silva have the best duo but it's clearly lacking in speed. Costa would give us that much needed heart, strength, presence and grittiness in the box. Silva can learn a lot from Costa.

In an ideal world though, I'd go for Dembele and implement a 343. I can also see him as a second striker/trequartista behind Andre Silva. There's also Isco who at the moment is very happy at Real, but they only have very few places left and not much minutes to give him. He's another potentially world class player and truly worthy of our #10 jersey if it's still up for grabs.

So our new signings will depend on:
- How Andre Silva performs in preseason
- How much of the budget is left (keep in mind we are 40m less with Bonucci's surprise unexpected signing)
- how the midfielders perform and where Hakan will play (IMO, in the middle of the 3 midfielders right ahead of Biglia and Kessie)
- what formation clicks in the next 2 weeks before buying the final pieces of the puzzle
- we will buy at least 2 more players to fill in our 2 non-EU players quota. Could be anytime between now and Jan 31st though. I think we'll sign one non-eu player at least this summer and we haven't signed any yet

Neymar can also as a striker and PSG might need to sell for about 110 million due to FFP.
