RE: Summer transfer window 2017 - ACMILAN1983 - 08-03-2017

I'm no finance expert and am not in a position to fully understand the complete situation, but from what I've read the problem isn't whether the club has the financial might to buy these players (it seems it's there). Instead, the problem seems to be similar to when the club was purchased, in that transferring the funds overseas is the difficulty, especially as Elliot fund have financed the club's sale. Italian banks don't see much profit when loaning to football clubs and with Elliot involved it seems there's a further distrust to provide guarantees on these transactions.

I do think this will get resolved, if not directly with a bank then through another means. However, I do hope the new management and ownership get this matter resolved quickly, because it seems if we're not careful, this could leave us in a very frustrating position with making transfers and will begin to potentially impact the club's reputation.

He was a player with a lot of potential, though I ought to say that I did say I had some doubts about his pace and ability to defend 1 v 1 to really reach the Milan first team. That was when we were still under B&Gs management.

Right now, even with a buy back clause I don't think there's much hope in him ever playing for Milan first team though I wish him the best.

Well the more practical question is if the 59 (42+17 (not including bonuses)) guarantees have needed weeks, those two players were signed mid July, then what/where/when is the guarantee for Auba, Sanches, etc. Like you allude to Dev, this can not be a continuous issue. Only this window I guess but not down the line.

We should try to stick to transfer news in this thread, my fault too, so .........

Kjaer, sometimes rumoured, has signed for Sevilla

Reza, just out of interest where do you suggest we discuss the financial matters? I just ask because I thought this would be the correct thread as it is concerning the transfers of Bonucci and Biglia

Here is fine, my thought was also since finance related going to either Milan management or Sell the club thread, but like you say transfer thread is very relevant.

I read on Red and black forums that the regulation on the foreign investment in China would be lifted on September 30. So after that we wouldn't have that much problems on payments and loans. If we did have any major financial issues we wouldn't have spent this much amount and given high salaries to our players.

EPL is the best league physically (and commercially/financially).
Liga is the best league technically.
Serie A is the best league tactically.
Bundesliga is the most balanced league regarding these 3 parts of the game.
Ligue 1 has tried to follow the steps of Bundesliga since 1-2 years.

good response.  I rate Bundesliga #2

There was a similar story in May http://www.milanmania.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=303&pid=113361#pid113361 but didn't happen, even though there was no specific date attached to that it didn't happen.

Yes. I saw the same company Huorang which is backed by Chinese government. And they mentioned the date September 30. Let's hope it's true.

Neymar is done
PSG just got so mad about barca approaching veratii that they activated Neymar's buyout clause, just like they threatened to do with Messi.
