Wouldn't have lost 11 vs 11. Thiaw screwed up.

Second half was proffesional football unworthy, unbelievably bad.

We shouldn't have lost even with 10 men. Especially at home.

Shouldn't even have lost 10 vs. 11. Fuck Jube and their luck.

1 shot on target in the game.

That 2nd half performance was listless and frankly pathetic. One of the worst in a long time. Literally walking around like zombies. The fitness levels are shocking.

May be down to 10 but show some passion and fight. Utterly embarrassing performance.

The season is still long. One loss, especially a freaky one like this, doesn't define the season. However, this allowed Juventus back into the race (not that they were truly out anyway) and it is going to take a toll on our psychology.

I blame Thiaw for his idiotic mistake which let the whole team down. Not only did we not get a result today, we also tired ourselves out greatly for the upcoming big games. We already started with huge disadvantage against PSG. Honestly, I would park the bus and play for 0:0 and leave everything to the second half of the group stage.

I would also blame Theo for his idiotic 5 yellows in barely 8 games, but at least he should be fresh against PSG.

I also don't understand Pioli's substitutions. I tried to reason it, but I failed. If he was going to take Giroud out anyway, why not keep Pulisic? After that and later Reijnders and Adli off, we basically lost any ability to put together a few passes. Poor Leao could never get any support from the midfield. We were literally just counting on Musah's short 1-2 (he is good with flicks and short pass, but his long pass and crosses stink) and you can see that Juventus was just toying with us knowing we already had no chance to score.

How unlucky we were too today. The red card, the deflection, and even the timing of goal/substitutions, you just know that it was one of those games that you were destined to lose. Also, look at Krunic. He almost got everything wrong, and without him, there was no way that that traitor Locatelli could have scored past Mirante.

Lastly, I thought that the referee was lenient on us. Many 50-50 in fact were in our favor. Maybe he just felt sorry for us.

Damn.

Inter, Juve, Lazio, Roma, Napoli, Atalanta all won. Fiorentina play tomorrow. Dodgy

I am really nervous about the two games this coming week. We were just toothless and hopeless in the final 20 minutes against Juventus, and that makes me seriously worried.

Im not that worried. We played with No Maignan, Theo, or RLC. Three essential players in this team. Everyone is back against PSG. They play a opposite game of football compared to Juve. Open, with reliance on individuals. I think this will suit us a lot more. The same can be said about Napoli. Open football with exposed defence. They will also be without Oshimen. And do you remember how we did last time? Big Grin

But one thing is for sure: We need to go for a striker in January. We cant wait to the summer market. David or Sesko in January and i i will be happy. Something important is missing in attack. No doubt.

We are without some star players, BUT Pioli has no answer for the low block. Juve don’t defend super well. We just don’t create much in space. You can put Maignan, Theo, RLC and no one will create. Pioli has a clear nemesis.

RE: Week 9: Milan - Juventus October 22 2023 20:45 - Zio Fester - 10-22-2023

Pioli seems to instil zero discipline in the team either. That is now 3 red cards in 9 league games. Unacceptable.
