Sigh...honestly, I am not sure what to think of this take over deal any more. It is painfully obvious that Berlu is not happy with the deal and for my money I bet it has to do with the price. There is a reason why Berlu was so willing and happy to deal with Bee, and such a pain in the ass with this consortium and that is because Bee offered him the 1 billion euros he wanted. Berlu kept talking about how he has spent 1 billion on Milan during his tenure here, and I think that is also an indirect hint at what he wanted to get out of this deal.
If this deal was to go through, I think it would have done so already. Since it has taken this long and the process has been this burdensome, I have to think collapse is the more likely outcome at this stage. It makes zero business or financial sense for Berlu to not accept the deal but then again, this is not a man who follows reasons any more. The fact that Berlu came out on FB and posted that idiotic video is just another sign that things are not rosey with the negotiations and he is trying to drag his feet again.
The most worrying part for me is, if Berlu turns down this deal, who could possibly come in with another offer? I think we can all agree that no sane investor is paying 1 billion for this team. Or should I say no reliable investor would do that. And if that is the case, then is Berlu just going to hang on forever? The egomaniac will never admit that he lost, so if he doesn't like this deal, he sure as hell won't say yes to another deal of similar terms. I guess we are going to have to look forward to the day he dies to get the relief we needed.
