First of all we need to get rid of symbol of Milan's transfer disaster in last decade. That's Galliani. He said "I build new Milan" too many times. And every time he lied. Whoever(fan ,agent ,player) in the world hear that words from him - it means nothing. Empty promise . And they're less motivated to come here because they now - THAT man ,that liar is still here. He screwed things too many times - he'll screw again.
We(club with new owners) need to show to entire world that things can be changed ,that things will be changed. And that can't be done with keeping compromited people on key posititons.
First step - get rid of Galliani.
Avaiting for arrival of exorcist into our boardroom.
Pjaca is not a big deal. We haven't been in CL in a few years and club has been in turmoil. People used to choose Milan because we were successful and improved talented players. Until we do so again, we will be passed over. No matter how big our trophy room is.
Money talks. Eventually we will pick up guys and likely we will have to buy some players at inflated prices, but it's the price you pay to return to big club status. This transfer season will be rough and not like the early 2000s. If we do gain entry into CL and perform well, next seasons window will be better. Let's be fair, this club is pure chaos for the past 4 years. Not inviting for players looking to be great.

True, and the thing is, while Galliani said a week ago that we were going to build a squad that can compete for any trophy, Montella was far more realistic, saying that our aim this year was to at least finish in the Europa League. Regardless of what the club says publicly that is probably the minimum goal that Montella has been given for this season - possibly by Gancikoff, who will be the next CEO (at this point his opinion probably matters more than that of Galliani). And that would also be an indication that the Chinese see this as a long term project and that they know that you can't turn this Milan into a top level European club immediately (hence the four year investment plan). We also mainly seem to be looking for younger players who can become world class at the club.
If this is true, then the Chinese have a far more pragmatic approach to rebuilding the club than what we've seen when sheiks and Russians have bought clubs elsewhere. And that is probably a very good thing, though it means that as fans we will also have to be patient and not expect anything beyond our minimum target for the season. Considering what we're coming from we should be quite happy to come 4th or 5th.
Milan is probably the biggest mess in world football, it has been badly run for years. If I had too choose as a player to join Juventus or Milan, I would also choose juventus. Its a much more stable club.
That hurts, but it's the truth currently. Unless a player is a Milan fan, there is no reason why he should choose Milan over Juventus.
But also, I think we are taking this way too hard. Neymar rejected RM to join Barca for example. It happens. We just need to be smart and identify other targets. Slowly, with the right work, we can overturn this situation. We have one of the elements that are needed (money), and we need the others (like competent management).
Alvaro Arbeloa very close, supposedly

Are we selling de Sciglio than? Imagine....Galliani called Juventus and told them he'll sell them MDS if they let us have Pjaca! haha I wouldn't doubt it. Than in turn he already has a replacement lined up in Arbeloa.
On a lighter note, Gabriel Jesus has a 25mil release clause...so just get him instead of Pjaca. Problem solved, fans will be happy, Galliani will save face.

I'll still wait for official confirmation, though admittedly my optimism from yesterday is fading very, very quickly.
You guys pretty much hit the nail on the head, right now Juve is ultimately a significantly more attractive destination than Milan, even with the Chinese money coming in.
I'm not going to lose sleep if we lose Pjaca, I want him but I can live with any disappointments for not getting him. The question is how do we react to the set back, because assuming the sale is going ahead, we need to make a statement. Honestly, I've all but lost faith in Galliani too. After Tevez, Kondogbia, Jackson Martinez, Dybala (hell even Pogba) and now seemingly this, I'm not confident he can conclude deals anymore. This one actually hurts a lot in that regard, because we've been following the guy for 2 years and Juve just waltz in and take him from under our nose. It's probably not that simple, but that's how it appears in the public eye. That imo is just not acceptable when working for Milan. Even if or when it does happen, it shouldn't be so obviously in the public eye, yet Galliani has a habit of allowing pictures of him with the player's entourage get leaked.
Anyway, if we lose Pjaca, I think Galliani has to shift his backside into gear and do something to make up for it, because this is embarrassing and only damages the club's image. My opinion is go all out and get Berardi. I'm a big fan of his and think it would send the perfect image for the club's goals. He's young (same age as Pjaca), Italian, a success at the Italian top level and we'd be doing to Juve what they tend to do to us, taking a player they've had long time links to, even if they don't appear to be after him right now. We'd also be pulling one over Inter, who are apparently after him, and that's never a bad thing
In other news, we're battling Juve ( ) for a young talent from Genoa called Pietro Pellegri. Apparently he's outstanding and still only 15 (I think). Of course, I'd like to fancy our chances with Genoa, but with Juve I'm pretty sure we'll miss out
Edit: reza where's the news about Arbeloa? I can't see it on either Football Italia or Milannews

I'd take Berardi over Pjaca happily because there's less risk involved.
I don't really mind Arbeloa, hopefully its 1, 2 year max contract on reduced wages. The experience could be a guiding factor in the locker room etc because we virtually have no experienced players who have played at the highest level.
