 Do we have only Zapata and Ely as CBs beside the new comer and Romagnoli? Only four CBs? We usually have many CBs in our squad.

I also just watched that video, and was about to post it.
By the way, I realized that we still have Jherson Vergara as our central defender, but he is close to useless.  I am happy with Romagnoli, Gomez, Zapata, Paletta being our top choice (I somehow suspect that Paletta may want to leave again). I know that we usually have five CBs, but I heard that Vangioni can play LCB too, and Ely can stay (if Paletta leaves) or get loaned out. We need to get rid of Vergara.

We have Ramagnoli, Gomez and Ely (if he stays), all of them are still young. And yes, we don't need Vergara. We still need one experienced defender if Paletta leaves.

I think money probably still is an issue this mercato, so let's not expect miracles yet.
On Gomez, I've read Montella requested him, so hopefully this isn't just a shot in the dark and he's being brought here because he is considered of value.

Yea Dev is right. We'll certainly be able to spend more than the rest of serie a come January onwards, but this summer we'll only have 15mln euros to play with right away. The other 85mln euros will be paid in 35 days, which is after the mercato is closed. I'm sure this wouldn't pose problems for most teams on negotiation, couldn't we just sign a contract that's a loan until the 35 day period is up then we pay? It wont be as easy as having the money ready to spend, but it shouldn't pose massive problems for our mercato

He's a solid center-back. I put my money on him forming a real good partnership with Romagnoli.
