The players were confused to Ventura's decision, first the first leg when Insigne was confused to why he was played in the midfield, and now De Rossi getting angry for being told to warm up when Italy were actually losing and needed attackers!!

The positive thing is that this should be a wake up call to the FIGC, I'm sad to see the 'old guards' leave, but their time has come.. on to the youth to take Italy to their height again!

Well SES was the best player, least static and most hard working in the minutes he got. So there is youth somewhat. But FIGC's mistakes about a coach are not even their biggest, Italy's youth structure is non existent. Few years ago when Baggio got the youth job but it didn't last, that's what they need. The German model.

what do you expect when you field a team like that and play a tactical experiment in a real match like that. they never have consistency in the last 3 or 4 match. also i think this would bring good stuff for us next mercato when some of the players wouldnt be expose to wc so their prices wont go up, and maybe belloti can come to us at a reasonable price this time.

Just watched the highlights. There were two penalty calls. Foul on darmian was definitely a penalty. the defender not only fouled him but i think it was a hand ball right after the foul.
