Rocco Commisso has submitted a big offer to purchase Milan which is €500M+The Elliott debt. He wants to close the deal before the weekend [Sky]

Mediaset are reporting that Rocco Commisso has given a 48 hour ultimatum on his offer to buy AC Milan: €500m+

This is very promising:

We (IFTV) have known Rocco for a few years now even before he owned the NY Cosmos: if he buys AC Milan it would be an unbelievable change for the better. We're hoping it happens for many reasons.

Mediaset claim that if Commisso's takeover of Milan is completed the entire club management would be changed, including the technical part and Gattuso.

Rocco Commisso met with Yonghong Li and agreed to keep him in minority but there some economic distance remains. Commisso's offer is €500M+€32M (Capital increase)+€180M (Elliott debt)+€100M pay off as settle for installments of signings and other expenses 

Corriere della Sera also report that the Ricketts are very confident and believe they are still at stake in negotiations. The deadline for a new shareholder entry is next week before Elliott seize the club.

That's basically what Li paid for the club last year, isn't it? He would be INSANE not to take that offer when basically nobody will refinance his Elliot loan and they are getting ready to basically take Milan from him completely anyway.

yep. Completely stupid not to take it. and in the mean time Rocco wants it sorted before it goes to Elliot because then it'll not only become a bidding war, but who knows what damage they will do to the club... eg. Sell off club assets first before selling off the club. As well as the delay of the process of them taking over then beginning negotiations.

I was surprised by how good that offer was too. I think Li will still take some losses with all the interest payments and what not, but I don't think there is anyway in hell he gets a better offer anywhere else. Hopefully, Li takes the offer and we can end this charade.
