With Torres being a player that will replace Drogba, Chelsea will not give up on him and sell him. Robinho has played well for us, and we will not sell him. Torres has been injured a lot in his career (similar to Pato), and we don't need another Pato.
Torres is a phenomenal talent, as is Robinho. I personally think Ibrahimovic & Torres would be phonomenal together, but this will never happen. Ibra prefers playing with Penalty box (fast) Strikers. He actually prefers to play alongside Inzaghi than to anyone else (believe it or not).
Lastly, Milan is not a team that does these massive swaps and all that. We have been rather modest on our moves, and besides the deals for Ibra & Robinho, we've gotten free or cheap players. I really don't see us doing anything big, esp in the Striker department.
Let's focus on MIDFIELD. Who I have no idea, because I've been waiting seemingly for years for midfielders to be bought, Quality, Dynamic Midfielders...

VdV would be a good addition, assuming he'd come in as Trequartista. He's not the level of a Fabregas, Sneijder, Kaka, but creative enough to probably make a difference. Montolivo I just do not like AT ALL. He reminds me Bonera, a big P&ssy with no ball$. Not a player to be tough in a big game or be confident in his abilities. He's just an average player at best, & 28 years old. I'll pass...
IF there is a perfect partner for Ibra, he is either Villa or Kun. Since both are deadly finisher and very good reading off his partner up front. Something that you can say about Pippo and Raul. Thats also what Pato must start to learn, he is a huge talent but he needs to learn how to play off his striking partner.

A player who can attack and defend in our price range, that is montolivo.unfortunately, you don't like him AT ALL.  :why VDV is not on your not-like-at-all list,he seems soft enough to me. 
Anyway, since schweni and ozil are definitely off our reach,I offer a second name,how about constant or lucho.

Gotze talking is not in the range of fantasy thread. if someone talking a creative midfield consist of ganso,hamsik and hernanes,that is definitely in the range of fantasy.

I suggest We should ignore all sources,and take wild guesses from a perspective combining team needs, spending power and our transfer habbits .like nocerino deal,none sources mentioned a trace before the deal.

We need a young Pirlo Seedorf and Rino for midfield , I don't think that Nocerino Aquilani Flamini are it Merkel too young to tell , EL Sharawwy looks very promising but isn't a Seedorf type.We need those 3 players in a time machine , or find players that can reach the same level , as we won't go out and sign Cesc Ozil or Mascherano players like that.
Real quality scouting is what we need , and to not be afraid of spending 5-10 million on a promising player like what we did with El Sharawwy.

Well he's recently taken Pato's spot in the Brazil NT, maybe Milan have also realised that Pato can't be depended on?
He's good, but he's nowhere near as good as Pato was in Brazil. Pato was out-of-this-world, his talent was comparable to the world's greatest... however look at him today... Can't control a ball to save his life when the pressure is on. These days talent is not enough to make it at big teams, it requires alot of hard work, character and courage. If Pato doesn't get his act up soon, he'll join Gila and Huntelaar on the Flop List, regardless of how many goals he's scored for us..... It really is shocking how he has such an impressive record at such a young age playing so terribly. One can only wonder what if he used his talent to it's fullest....
