IMO City will fall apart without CL, unless they get a reduction from CAS. Such a scenario must be valued by us, in terms of getting some city players in the build up of a competitive squad for the next year.

We won't be the only team waiting to take advantage of the situation. I am not sure if we would be competitive either. 

Plus, I don't think Manchester City players would choose to come to us. We probably rank low on their list.

That is assuming City does get banned for two years, which I doubt will happen in the first place. I would be surprised if they even ended up with one.
