We don’t have to look at the future to understand the level of aspiration. Check our bench, Pioli vs Simeone and Conte.
The level of grinta, aspiration, vision, strategy from the ownership, past and present, are on Empoli level.
Unfortunately that's the reality. We, the fans, don't want to to understand that Ac Milan is a mid level team with no aspirations to move up. We gotta understand that. We live in the past with the past. We cannot compete with top clubs anymore. Which top player would want to join a club in a total mess!? Noone. To make these corona days pass easier we read and post here fantamercato news albeit we know that it will never happen. At least in our minds Icardi, Rakitic, Th silva, Cavani,Toanli, would join us. In real life, we will end up signing serie B players.
Milan linked with Olympicaos midfielder Mohamed Mady Camara

So either Inter or Lazio then?
PSG asking for Bennacer. Milan will not discuss for anything less than €30 million claim reports in France.
We shouldn't discuss Bennacer with anyone, period. Not for 30mil, not for 50mil. No point in buying talented young players only to sell them a year or two later, before they've even entered their prime.

I don't mind a youth project and picking out players before they enter their prime for cheap. But that would only be ok if we are planning in using them in their prime. Otherwise, what's the point? Might as well just buy experienced players for cheap than. At least you know what you get with them. There is no excitement for a youth project aimed at reselling. I'd be excited for a youth project that's aimed at longevity though...meaning keeping those players.

We shouldn't be a revolving door. Some will end up being sold. I get that. They'll either wanna go themselves or just won't work out here. But some should be absolutely kept and be considered the future and untouchable. It's hard to point out untouchable players at this Milan. But if I was to make a list, Bennacer would certainly be on it.

On a different topic...this Szaboszlai kid looks talented and like a modern midfielder. So does Camara from Olympiacos. We've been linked to both, and based on youtube videos (haha), those 2 with Bennacer will form a good midfield. I'd love Tonali too, but who knows what'll happen with him. Brescia is almost certain to he relegated, meaning he'll 100% leave...but i'm afraid there will be a mini bidding war going on. Every top club in Italy wants him, while there's also been talk of big clubs from abroad being interested.
I am confident selling them this early is not going to happen, even the worst case Gazidis will not do that. To make money 'soon' it will be Paqueta (more of a special case that is not working out otherwise he would be in same category as Bennacer and may be we would sell Calhanoglu instead for example), Donna, and anything we can get for some of Calabria, Conti, Kessie, Krunic.
