I am looking for another perspective on manuel lanzini ever since his river plate days he has shown signs of real quality which is fairly hard since he was competition with lamela for first team football and now he at Fluminense he seems to be flying for me one of the surprises of the season, in addition has Fluminense agreed a buyout clause with river after lanzini loan deal expires?

btw i heard sao paolo is interested in kempes from america is there any truth in that

Saw Lazini only 3 times this season, but he wasn´t that good. But look, it´s only 3 times so, I can´t give you a fair judgement. But one thing I can, say, there´s no hype surround him as a surprise of the season.

Regarding Kempes, Eric... I can´t help because I´m not aware of São Paulo mercato. But if I read something(reliable), I will post it here for you.

Not a pain, my friend.

First, let me talk about Paulinho.

He´s the typical Brazilian segundo-volante. A box-to-box player... He plays a lot like Jucilei, defending and bombing forward. When I said like Jucilei, I mean a DM that can´t do the Holder(#5) job. Have said that, in my opinion, Paulinho doesn´t have the high ceiling of Jucilei. Don´t get me wrong, he´s having a very good season with Corinthians, but I don´t think he can be develop into a WC with the right coaching like Jucilei...

Look, it´s just my opinion, but despite the fact that Paulinho is having a really good season, scoring a lot for a DM, something about him doesn´t convinces me. I would not bring him now to Milan. I would wait for another season before trying to buy him. Like I said, it just a matter of feeling... my feeling. I don´t see Paulinho worth of a non-Eu spot on AC Milan.

Now, Oscar...

Oscar came from São Paulo academy, where he was been grown as the new Kaka. I, personally, never saw in him a new Kaka, but when I said that, I do not say it in a bad way. Oscar is too, your modern #10, since he brings more to the table than the traditional trequartista.

As some could see at the last under-20 WC, when Brazil won the title, Oscar can also play a little deep in the midfield. I found that an waste of his talents, but the coach did it to find a form to use Oscar and P. Coutinho in the same lineup. Some here maybe remember, others not, but Coutinho didn´t perform at a high level at the under-20 WC, and if I was the coach, benching Coutinho and advance Oscar to the #10 role would be my move. Coach chose to stick with Coutinho as a #10, and for my entire surprise, the more Oscar played as RMD in a 4-3-1-2, the better became its performances.

I can´t deny that for some time, after see some pretty underwhelming performances of this young man for Brazil youth NT´s, I was almost putting him in the same category of the "next big things" failure that never seemed to put it all together and becoming a Pro. But he clearly turned the corner and had a amazing under-20 WC(Henrique was chosen the Golden Ball, but imo it was a crime to not chose Oscar) and Brasileirão this season. Right now his form isn´t that good, but now I´m more confident he will be a big time player.

Having said that, Oscar would not be my first choice at his position here in Brazil. Look, I would be happy if AC Milan purchased him, no doubt, but if we where to take a risk(and pay good money for it) here in Brazil, Lucas of Sao Paulo need to be the first choice. In some games I saw Oscar put Internacional Senior team on his back and lead them to victories(Brazil under-20, too), but I need to see it happening more for to be more comfortable and say we need to go after him.

Like I said, Oscar is an impressive young talent already playing(and good) at the pro level, but like you are used see me write it here, until an young players is leading his pro team in a regular basis, or even only bring it in the majority of the games, I´m not comfortable giving my green light(if thats worth anything, LOL) for a purchase here in Brazil.

Thanks for the reply it is kind of refreshing to have another view on a player and when it comes to lanzini he has a lot to do to prove his worth for the fans who follow river and flum, however i did neglect to point out that he has an italian passport so he would an alternative to Rodrigo Possebon for a south american eu passport holder.

Alright some new questions firstly has Bebeto mathues son featured for Flamengo this season I can't tell as he doesn't even have a Wikipedia page which is kind of odd. secondly if he has is he any good the only view i have heard on him came from Fernando Duarte http://www.guardian.co.uk/profile/fernandoduarte and he pretty much said he heard rumours that this is quality but is being type cast because of his father, personally i would find it highly entertaining to see bebeto child come though as well as mazinho kids that 80/90s brazil side would seem to keep giving in terms of memorable football and great footballing genetics. Additionally i would also like to ask if Avai William could be a reasonable option for milan to consider as a striking option in the mercato.

thanks as always brasileiro, your insight is always great. I'm mostly curious to hear about these guys because I've heard about them elsewhere. I will be interested in learning more about them tactically in the future.

Btw, are there any good options in Brazil for the Van Bommel/Ambro role as DM in front of defence. Right now I think this is a position that's really difficult to fill.
