This is actually not horrible, especially if we reach CL. But Ibra? Is he already decided he would want to play on after the current season?
The main thing with Donnarumma is not his wages, it's ok if we offer the €8m. The problem is his release clause, will it be €30m or €50m or €80m. To me that's a more important question than his wage.
€5m for Romagnoli would be deserved.

If the Milan‘s management is going to give him 5-6M/a there will be a disturbed balance in club‘s finances and between the players. Then afterwards Romagnoli will have same demands, then Theo etc... a big no for a player who has played well in the last 3 months... if he does not want to stay in a club giving him everything, then place him on transfer list in January..

Ramos is a leader and I would say he is Real’s Maldini..and of course he represents the mentality of the club he is playing...
After 2 years plus.. Hakan has 3 good months and he feels he deserves a huge contract..? 6m..? Based on just 3 months performance.. i would tell him to wait till end of season.. if he manages to score more than 10 goals and 15 assists plus we get to UCL.. i would gladly give him that 6m contract which also hinges on his performance per season (10g 15assists + ucl) qualification
Too many players have future success priced in their current contracts. We’ll have to balance the payroll with the commercial success and keep it under control. Hundreds of millions of loses per year is not sustainable.
Although I like few players from the current squad, I would not lose any sleep if anyone wants to leave. Nobody is Messi or Ronaldo-like prospect to lure them with high salaries.

If Riola wants a release clause and Gigio agrees, then this would be the condition: It's for any club outside of Italy.
If we can't make UCL again, then we have no right to keep him or anyone from thing's like UCL. I would set it at 40-50 even though you can get much more. You can get Cragno, Sigiru, Lafont or whoever for 50M plus change depending who you go for should he leave. Experience or Youth.
But, I think Donnarumma will stay especially with CL qualification.

The derby he was pretty average I thought. These are the games Hakan show's he does not get 5-6M.
As I put in his player section, there's many AM types out there so it's not like Hakan is a dime a dozen.
Ziyech, Odegaard, keep Diaz, Kubo or a more experience one.

Problem with Donnarumma and Romagnoli is that neither of them should be at 6m/season nor 3.5m/season at 21 and 25 years of age.
Renewing Romagnoli for 5m at 25 (turns 26 in Jan) really will make selling him extremely difficult. Not many clubs will want to pay more than 5m/season for a CB and if they do, it'll be for the absolute top CBs in the world which Romagnoli does not look like he will be. It shows that we could be stuck with Romagnoli with his 5m/season wages if we decide to go there.
For Donnarumma it's different.... he's one of the top 3 GKs in the world already at 21. He could play for another 18-20 years. He would be worth the transfer fee and wages of 9-10 per season could be given to him by top football clubs, who will also want him certainly.
I'm agreeing with renewing Gigio to 8m (preferably 7 or 7.5m) per season, but for Romagnoli I wouldn't give him more than 4m per season. He hasn't warranted a higher upgrade. He will be the second highest earner at our club (after Gigio and excluding Ibra who's 39) while not being close to one of our best players. It'll encourage the agents of our other players to get paid as high as Romagnoli since their clients are playing at a better level more consistently. It'll be a very dangerous move and financially irresponsible in my opinion.

Watching Ajax-Heerenveen....I can see why Gravenberch is so highly rated. He looks like Vieira in the way he plays. Only 18 too.
But another intdresting player that I had never even heard of....Mohammed Kudus. Wow. Looks like they got him from Nordsjæland in the summer. He's only 20.
And the 3rd....Schuurs. A 20 yr old CB we were actually linked with during the summer. This guy looks so comfortable on the ball, but not only that...he's got great physucal attributes. Big frame but moves really well. Looks a good defender.
It's hard to know the level of Heerenveen and that might be exaggerating how good these players actually are. But nonetheless, you can't fake talent....and they sure as heck have a lot of it.

Romagnoli is a good teamplayer, nothing more than that. Dont see an upgrade neither, he is slow even at his best. Donarumma is from time to time a match winner, Romagnoli incontrary is less decisive. If we are set to build a strong Milan, like in that past, Romagnoli cant be center of the project.
