I don't want him to trigger a new round of agent request for their players to get a big raise. as reza said, if Hakan gets it, why not Bennacer, why not Theo, why not Kessie? Hakan is still inconsistent and in my opinion he is not among the "irreplaceable" in our team.

I would love to keep him, but probably won't shed a tear if he left. He is also not mentally very strong, and his behaviors aren't always professional. I am not sure if we could count on him to bring Milan back to glory. Let alone letting him don the sacred #10 shirt.

allow me to rant a little more. If only Donnarumma and Romagnoli could stop being greedy and made a good example! Football is unfortunately different from the old days. We had Weah continue fighting with a broken arm when we were losing; we had Gattuso refuse to leave the pitch (probably unwisely) despite that he hurt his eyes and couldn't even see things clearly; we had Donadoni fought for a ball with no regard of his own safety, and almost killed himself as he accidentally swallowed his tongue when he got unconscious (thankfully, the calm and quick decision by the opponent team's doctor who broke Donadoni's jaw just to get his tongue loose and saved his life), we also had Redondo who returned his salary because he didn't play for Milan due to long-time injury. In the old times, there were so many great stories of loyalty, bravery and dedication. All of them are rarities now.

You know how much I love Donnarumma, but this kid does piss me off every time I think of all the drama on the mercato each summer. Romagnoli is another player I have always appreciated having, after all, he went through perhaps one of the darkest times in Milan history (since I followed) and never talked about leaving. but he hasn't improved much (I think he got worse over the years), and he changed the agent to the fat fuck?? Locatelli particularly pisses me off. They just don't want to sit on the bench any more. Milan of 90s would not be the true invincible if we didn't have F.Galli, Colombo, Nava, Eranio, Evani, Stroppa, Simone, Massaro that willingly sat on the bench and ready to get in whenever called upon. I know, the coach's decision to play Biglia ahead of him hurts, and I don't disagree, but still, the manner that he left Milan left a bitter taste in our mouth. and don't get me started with Pirlo, who just seems to want to sever all ties with Milan these days.

Gattuso probably was already the last "saint" (without a better choice of word) that we would ever witness. I know that I am probably talking crazy again, as I may have been too harsh on those above-mentioned players, so please pardon me for the ranting.

I don't see how we are in better shape than any big team, including Barca. Yes they have unique issues with "flops" but Milan just reported 195 million loss. The summer savings Maldini has talked about is not more than 1 or 2 players total 40 million at most. Might even need to sell someone like Conti  to make it 40 otherwise it's less. As one example, keeping Diaz will cost 25 very easily and his salary won't be low and it will be an urgent need if Calhanoglu leaves.

Because of pandemic FFP is almost postponed for 1 year, instead of summer 2021 needing better finances  it is summer 2022.
Only regular CL and stadium will help Milan, until then we need smart deals like Theo buy and Suso sale.

We are definitely in better shape than teams like Barca, and it was mostly due to Elliott's effort to change our capital structure. 

In modern day soccer, most teams are not really profitable. There are oddities like Real, Bayern, Juve and smaller clubs, but for the most part teams are not really profitable from a year to year basis. The way these teams fund their operations, therefore, becomes a critical piece of the puzzle. A team like Barca, for example, take on a lot of debt from creditors to keep their cashflow afloat. This presents a huge liability for the team, because the debt they take on carries interest payments. A 100M loan from a bank, for example, will actually cost Barca maybe 130M to pay off when it's all said and done. When revenue is at normal level, Barca can afford this, i.e if you make 100K a year and you have to pay 30K per year to the bank for mortgage and interest on that mortage. But when revenue declines sharply like it did with COVID, it's like you lost your job and still have to pay that 30K to the bank. This is when teams run into real issues. If the debt is defaulted, creditors have legal rights to strip away assets from the loaner, which basically means they can tear the team down. Barca could also go out and get new loans from other institutions to pay these debt off, but that's basically opening a new credit card to pay for your current credit card debt. 

For Milan, despite the fact that we incurred losses every year, Elliott was the one who pumped cash into the team to fund our operations. We do not have much debt left on the balance sheet as a result of that. Given that Elliott owns the team, it is not like they will ask us to liquidate the team tomorrow to pay their money back. This saves us a ton of money on interest and eliminates the risk of default for us.

I admit that. At times, I am like "the hell with them, let's just sell them and get it over with" but the boy is indeed very good though (I know that my buddy ACM1899 strongly disagrees ). Just look at Tatarusanu. If Gigio played against Roma, there is a great chance that we would be 6 out of 6 now. Even if we sold him for good amount (50M or 60M), then what? I know that it would have great financial impact, but what about from a sporting perspective? Eventually we still need to win games, win trophies, and for that, we need champion players. Can we replace him adequately with the money? I am not sure about that. If poorly managed or unlucky, the money will go away quickly and we would be without a WC goalkeeper for years to come.

That fat fuck is a pest, but you also have to admit that he also has the most talented clients. That's where his power comes from. I wish that all clubs can unite and boycott business with him, forcing all his clients to leave him. That would be ultimately the only way to rid the football world of that cancer. But it is also a typical "prisoners' dilemma" situation as we know that clubs won't really work together (unless something happens top-down from higher authority), and the fat fuck can always manipulate the situation into his hand. 

I honestly don't know what to expect or even what to hope for. I don't think it is realistic for our club to completely cut ties with him and wage war against him, though should that happen, I promise I will not complain either. It does seem that we are at least getting rid of some of them, the less critical ones (Abate, Bonaventura come to mind, although I am not sure if we could keep them if they had a different agent). I mean, you can possibly think about getting rid of Ibrahimovic, right? Maybe our management is finding the subtle balance working with him? All I can do is trust our management to do the right thing.... and of course, cherish the moment while we have a great run on the pitch.

First of all, club is bigger than the player. Furthermore, we don't need the best GK in the world in our team. It is different with other positions. Loosing Bennacer and/or Kessie for example could damage our team especially you need to replace the players with similar qualities and the new players normally need to adapt with their new team. What most important thing, it won't be easy to find their replacement. It is not the case with GK. If we could sell 50 mil for example, we could get an experienced quality GK (not top best) for 20-30 mil euros. With regard with Tatarusanu, I totally don't know him but I think it is harsh to judge a player from one game. I am not saying he is good for our first GK but he should be good enough four backup seeing how Maldini co have been doing in transfer activities.

Siregar did pointed out what I was about to write, selling Donnarumma should have been our main motive in the summer but COVID crisis surely dented all what I hoped. Cragno would be the perfect replacement for him, he is very underrated goalie imo, even looks better than Donna and much less mistake prone.

People should not write off Tatsaranu based on one bad match, he is still the first choice for Romanians ahead of Inter's Andrei Radu.
