I don't think Romagnoli deserve this much of hate from Milan fanbase imo, he has been our probably only consistent player since 3-4 years, slandering him for not performing for a month is bit too much, he was regarded as Italy's best CB atleast till 2019 summer, he had above average 19/20 season due to this Bastoni and Acerbi has overtaken him as Italy's best.

I think we should trust him(atleast till January). That being said he still doesn't deserve 5M salary, 4M max(if he returns to his original form) but Gabbia should be given more playing time, he can play as RCB and LCB, so both Kjaer and Roma can be rested alternatively.

We dont hate anybody here,judge players on their performances...hereby to say that Romagnoli has been underperforming for long long time.

Agree with Artan, we appreciated Romagnoli when he was performing. When he isn't, he deserves the criticism. It's a results game, if he's not producing the results the team is suffering & they get paid big money to perform.

Don't know if he's lacking motivation, or maybe he's still trying to get back into full form after his time out. Either way, we are on our way up and back into CL at least, and we can hardly afford for players to be below par when it matters most.

The other aspect with Romagnoli is that he's still worth quite a bit of $. If he's not going to get back up to scratch we're better off cashing out especially in todays financial conditions.

Romagnoli as a captain is certainly an upgrade to our previous captain Dead Man Walking, but, a big downgrade to Ambrossini as the last captain of the old era.

Romagnoli will be fine. He has only played in 6 matches, some good and some not so good, after a 3 month injury layoff where he missed the entire pre-season. For me he is still one of the players who are important to keep.

He is the one to be sold and cash in for a new qyality CB who is decent for the club.

But it must depend on who will replace him. It should not be old nor too young like Lovato.

True, we can't replace him with Ramos. Doesn't make sense for our future to have Kjaer and Ramos as starting CB's. I haven't followed much on up and coming CB's but they seem more difficult to find than previous times.

We're linked with Thuram, who is son of former Juve player. He can play striker/wing/cam and seems very talented in fact. Ironically, although his father played for Juventus he was actually a Milan fan.

Defending quality is down across the world, Romagnoli included, rock solid defending barely exists on top teams let alone smaller teams. Replacing Romagnoli is obviously not the same as replacing Musacchio. For Musacchio we can even take a chance on an unknown 18 year old with potential.
