I wouldn't mind signing him at all, and I think we'd do well to bring in another experienced player, especially if we're going to try for the Scudetto this spring.

I think there are several aspects in our situations and we have to follow a clear project:

We all are in an overhype and a great enthusiasm seeing our team to lead the Serie A. This is the result of an over performance of a roster, which is very young, talented under guidance of an extraordinary player: Ibrahimovic,
but without any depth and experience in such situations and pressure. 

1. Either we see this situation as a chance to win the championship or
2. We stick to our long term project, meaning: secure a CL spot and build a team, which can compete for quarter final in CL and win the championship in 2-3 years.

If we choose 1., we have to invest in order to achieve this goal, although with the risk of losing everything. Because this team has no experience to manage a situation, where defeats will come and critics about performance will increase pressure. 
And of course players like Calhanoglu and several agents are miss-using this circumstances, in order to gain the maximum profit. 

In case of 2. There is no pressure for players and management for the championship and the team has to say goodbye to players like Calhanoglu..

Milan has to invest in quality. We have a very good, very young and talented core and this is the ideal fundament to invest in order to build a WC-team for the next decade..I think that management should signalise that the times of “overpaid” mediocre players are over. And if players like Calhanoglu demand so much money, as Ibrahimovic, then they should go..immediately.. but on the other hand we have to replace them with true quality and not short-term options..

They are good options. I mean in fairness, who was Hauge & Saelemakers when we bought them ?

I'd rather have youth with potential, they have been working out for us thus far. Pioli's system is very high intensity, our players run like maniacs. The system is working, and if we don't have money in January for big signings we should be looking at depth signings. As far as I'm concerned, Pessina & Pobega are much better options than Krunic.

I agree the youth policy is going well. I do like a few senior head's there too like Ibra, Tats and Kjaer but so far so good. If we get Thauvian or my guy (Kubo) for the right in the Summer, we will be doing well.

This would be great news. A very good utility player. He works his socks off for this team despite the tough seasons. Btw, after our Europa league shoot out, I think he should take our PKs.
