Honestly never seen him play.. I
Good news about Junior Firpo, hope that happens. Maldini and Massara have realised that we need squad depth, which means we're not just aiming for top 4 anymore, but actually pushing for the Scudetto. We're making a statement of intent – the goal is clearly to have at least two players for every position. This is where Maldini's experience is so valuable as well, he's been part of so many winning teams that he knows how they should be constructed.

what's milan's point of signing him; paqueta again?

our priority should be selling samu, krunic, conti, antonio donnarumma, mussachio.

offloading Dalot, Diaz.

then deciding on buys
Di Marzio: Tomori - Milan ... the negotiations are closed. He may be ready for the next Atlanta match
Amavi is part of the left full-backs followed by the club.

Amavi is 26, so maybe is perfect for Theo's back up.

Firpo would be great but wouldn't be expect to start? Behind Theo and Calabria.
I don't mind Madzukic's free transfer.

I'm disappointed with missing out on Simakan ... for now. His injury seems pretty bad ... 2 months? Although, his agent claimed he's not injured. If he's not, and he decided not to play, it's a question of professionalism then. If that's the case, I support Maldini for not gunning hard after him over a difference of 2-3m. If that's how the player reacts, by excluding himself from the team when a bigger club, who's to say he's not gonna do a similar thing at Milan? I still think he's a talent. He could easily replace Kjaer in 2-3 seasons and be our top defender.

Timori? I've never seen him play. This is just a depth and temporary acquisition. I don't think we'll pay the ridiculous amount for the option. Although, Maldini has described him as "perfect"?

Although, I think it won't happen, but should we get Otavio or another Winger, I wouldn't mind loaning out Hauge to a lesser serie A side. He needs playing time and better positioning and movements.

So far the window has been underwhelming, but I think Maldini is playing it cautious. We need more depth, not superstar at this point in time. And when we secure CL, we'll be far more attractive for the players.

While he's played on the wing, he's a CAM that can play on the wing. Much like Diaz.
IF he comes I dare say he comes to replace Diaz as that backup CAM/Winger that Diaz has been doing for us.

His agent already said he was mistaken about the injury, Simakan is really injured and will be out for at least 2 months. So what do you want Maldini to do, buy a unfit player and hope for the best? Maldini did the next best thing, get another player on loan and reassess the situation 6 months later.

His stats look really good on paper, that's better than Suso. We should get him on a free and sell to Spanish teams who like this kind of player. I did not watch enough of him to be sure whether he is French Suso.

That's why I said if he wasn't injured and he just decided not to play, I'd question his professionalism and would support if/when Maldini decided not to pursue him any longer.

As it currently stands, it's disappointing we couldn't secure him this winter market. I just hope no panic buying on Kabak or someone else. Option to buy is ok, as long as the loan fee is relatively low.
