That's true. We do have too many second strikers at this moment. Cassano is the best in my opinion for that role - he is a natural. Robinho can play in the midfield; El Shaarawy is still young, which is why I place them after Cassano. Ibrahimovic has wonderful skills can certainly play in that role, but now he is being used as a CF, and he does get goals, so most likely he will stay as CF. I won't comment on Tevez, as he is not ours, at least not for right now.

The way I see it, Pippo is out. We have Ibrahimovic and Pato for one position (first striker), Cassano, SES, and Robinho for the other position (ss), but Robinho can play more position and SES has future, and Cassano's health is a question mark. So the choice will be hard. I don't know whom I will choose, and I certainly don't know whom the team will choose, but I am quite sure that it all depends on how Cassano recovers, how Robinho ups his game, and for both questions, the answers won't be revealed until the end of season. Another factor of course is if we will win something important; when that happens, the team usually will reward players by keeping the current old players and improving their contracts (no sarcasm), but if we are talking about another CL trophy, I wouldn't mind throw away one or two years down the road. Again, no sarcasm.

I think there's no reason to want to sell either Pato or Robinho. Pato has incredible potential, remember he's only 22 give the kid a break, I know it's frustrating but when he does explodes we wont regret keeping him. Robinho in the other hand has his obvious qualities which always benefit us but his terrible finishing can be fixed. Remember Ronaldinho who was born again thanks to Leonardo, Abate adapting to his new position, Cassano regaining form, these players are examples that show that anyone can change for good. I also don't see why we're going for Tevez, if anything we should get him on loan. Right now we are supposed to get rumours involving midfielders like Hernanes and why not, Ganso.

You're showing a great bias here. Pato in the second half of last season was excellent, and often excelled when he needed to. Robinho was brilliant last year too, but I don't think he was any better than Pato in his overall contribution (I think Elmago's stats also show this).

On the one hand you're asking us not to judge Robinho for his performances this season, yet you criticise Pato frequently for a player who has started I think 3 games, one of which he got injured in after 20 minutes and a couple of sub appearances.

In all honesty, I think you let you're desire to cash in on Pato get the better of your judgement, making you highly impartial in your assessment of players.

I think we can't judge neither Robinho nor Pato for this season as they were injured for most of the time ... Anyway, for Pato, I can understand the frustration of some people because of his regular injuries.

For these both players, we can't expect great things each week end before the winter break and preparation !! Of course, they will probably do a great performance here or there before Christmas, but I'm quite sure they won't manage to be great on a regular basis.

To be honest, if both Pato and Robinho come back to their level in January, I don't see how we could lose this championship as we managed to be where we are despite their injuries.

I can't see the issue surrounding pato and robinho they are probably the best players milan can get to play in those particular roles unless milan go out and buy saurez or tevez maybe neymar which seems slightly unrealistic considering their wage demands transfer fees and in the case of tevez saurez unlikable dispositions. In the case of pato i can see the reasons behind selling him other the his numerous injuries layoffs he has remained a player who is of great unachieved potential despite the fact that he has been at the club since 2007 (jan 2008 for those anal people), add to that he has some of the most foolish annoying supporters in the universe people who liken him to romario and van basten and think that pato is could single-handedly win every game he starts just by being on the pitch. At the same time those objections can be answered by the club having poor medical facilities, pato numerous injuries and the ability to block people who frustrate you on the internet, In addition you have to remember pato is a very cost-effective player falling well within the budget constraints milan adhere to plus a long-term playing assets he could make the difference in winning cups and trophy as a financial long-term asset he could make milan 50-80 million euros in a transfer fee money which could prove to be very useful in the fture.

Selling either Robinho or Pato isnt an option for me, until we know definitively what is happening to Cassano.

And when (not if) Pippo leaves, and if (not when) Tevez comes, we will have:

Ibra + Pato (+ Tevez) as box strikers
(Cassano) + Robinho (+ Tevez) as second strikers
(Tevez) + Boateng + El Sh as ACMs......

Not sure why either of Pato or Robinho would be sold.....unless for financial reasons....
