I would say the english government brought ESL down, not UEFA. Their threat, including English FA, forced PL clubs to pull out.

If they kick out Juventus than 5th place leads to CL?

Just saw a disheartening piece of news regarding the ESL. There were supposedly three tiers in this "club". (If my understanding is accurate)
https://mobile.twitter.com/derWinterbach...4480493569 Bottom: Atletico, Dortmund, Inter, Milan each getting half of everyone else. Top: Real Madrid and Barcelona each getting 60m extra. Everyone else in the middle.

Like I said earlier there is no way ESL was going to be about a reduction in corruption, just a more exclusive set up where they set their own rules while playing with more cash. If anybody wants to clean UEFA one has to come up with something almost opposite of ESL.

Are you suggesting that Atletico, Dortmund, Inter, Milan each getting double of everyone else; Real Madrid and Barcelona each getting 60m less; everyone else in the middle? We can call it League of Super Europe (LSE), opposite of ESL.

I read somewhere that even the 20th EPL team earns more than any team in Europe barring RM, Barcelona, and one or two more (forgot whom).. So, you may want to leave Sheffield United, West Brom, Fulham out. |
