I dont think he's expressed how good he really is. I don't think he's fit in yet. But Roma are a team that are in transition, so it's only fair that shouldn't be judged yet. I dont think he's cut out for the 4-3-3 though, a 4-3-1-2 is better and that's what Luis Enrique has been adoption for the past 4-5 games now. I still dont see Pjanic shining though, I'm more impressed with Lamela.

Just curious, what do you guys think about Pjanic in Roma so far?

Not a bad player at all. For some strange reason though, I think you can't really judge players properly when they play for Roma.
And I just don't know how to explain that.

Well Roma have , well had against Juve a good game and were missing Kjaer , Gago , Juan , Bojan , Pizzaro would they all start maybe not , but still some better talent coming off the bench.And with Stekelenberg great keeper , and Greco , Kjaer , Gago , Lamela , Osvaldo , Pjanic , Bojan they have some great young talent .Mixed in with quality experience , I think they should leave Enrique in charge until they have at least a settled run with a full squad at on hands.

Us mercato , i think if Tevez goes elsewhere that we'll end up with a cheap low cost mid quality forward.And I do not think for a minute that the MGT cares about a non EU player and is planning to bring one in , unless he fits the relatively cost effective or free demo.

Free and bargain players are really hit and miss, and despite Ibra coming for 24, Robinho for 18, I really would not say thats a bargain buy since that's still lots of money.
When you look at all those players who came at a bargain or free over the post Kaka era, they are:
Gouch; A huge joke.
Amelia; Solid but Stoari is still the better keeper
Yepes; Solid and great buy considering his wages, perform his job well.
Senderous; garbage
Mexes; jury still out
Taiwo; overhyped and overrated
Dilac; jury still out, since he never played
Urby; good all around player but does not fit in.
Papa; same as Taiwo
Flamini; 4 yrs 3 managers on a new team, Could be a bit over rated but he is probably at his best with a 4 men midfield or as a CM instead of DM.
Beckham; did his job
MVB; great buy for the first 6 months, solid buy for the past 6 months.
Nocerino; buy of the season
Aqua; solid player nothing special. Although his price and deal seems like a bargain, but I think Pool overpriced him too much to begin with. Personally, I think he is about the 8mil range given his injury history and being a free agent next summer.
Cassano; pretty good buy.
Hunter; although mis-used but at best he is a better version of Gila.

I am not putting Boateng on this list, bc although host cost was 7-8mil or so. That was a pretty reasonable, even abit high for a player like Boateng, who was on a bankrupted relegated side in the EPL.

So bargain and free players is really miss more than hit, another thing is Milan should sign players who will improve the squad rather than just being a bargain or free.

Man City has Gael Clichy, Aleksandar Kolarov, & Wayne Bridge. All (3) are better than our LB choices. If we can't get Santon, why not go for one of Man City's LB's. How many good LB's does one team need?

As for Santon, he's Right Footed. We often have 11 RF players in the lineup, and I find it better if possible to have a Left Footed LB. It's better IMO to have a LB overlap and be able to cross with his Left Foot properly.
Doesn't mean I wouldn't welcome Santon considering how poor Taiwo and Antonini have been, and how old Zambrotta is.

It's obvious that maldini doesn't like taiwo,he said in an interview that he wants to see maxwell in milan and won't mind santon coming either.maybe we will see a taiwo for santon swap soon.

Allegri praised taiwo's performance last night though,claiming that more playtime will do him good.It's a really tricky situation there.

If yu didn't include a 7M Boateng, then 15M Huntelaar doesn't belong in that group too.

Huntelaar is a 23 M player at minimum .. He is currently the best pure finisher of the game ..
