Nah our Milan under Berlu wasn't like this. We were a storied club with homegrown champions like Maldini. We were more of the modern day equivalent of Bayern, def not PSG.

I agree nefremo wholeheartedly including his last paragraph. PSG and the country of Qatar are owned by the king (or whatever they call it) himself. Saying PSG is virus for European football which needs to be annihilated is not enough, this king himself and how he launders money in front of everyone is the problem and uefa and fifa are busy being bribed by his men. If we can’t say fuck them all, then there are no words to describe the feeling.
Gee, UEFA overlooking clear and obvious financial manipulation? How odd that they would do that?! These morons acted like us running a deficit was the worst thing that ever happened to soccer but when PSG clearly bends the rules with fake sponsorships, they see nothing wrong at all. UEFA better be careful. As the super league thing demonstrated, teams have grown sick and tired of their crap and have started to form a revolution. Those voices will only grow louder and louder until status quo has been changed.
As far as PSG is concerned, they can sign as many superstars as they want. Games aren't won by reputation, they are won by execution. If you don't believe me, check out what happened to France in the Euro this year. If those morons think stockpiling star strikers will just get them that CL, they have another thing coming. Their team is insanely attack centric with very little balance. Good teams will have no problem exploit that. Not to mention, any team that plays them will play them with 200% effort just to spite them. Good luck, you cheating bastards.

I'd take James for the right price but I'd certainly prefer Isco - I think overall quality has always been better from Isco. Ziyech is having an amazing preseason and he'd be my #1 option tbh, I just don't think we have the 40m to buy him.

It's gone all quiet on the CM spot. So maybe they really do plan on sticking with Pobega. This decision may come back and haunt us in January when we lose both Kessie and Bennacer. Even Tonali hasn't fully convinced, although I'm comfortable with him being the back up. But, we need another one.
Then there's the attacking 3rd. I like what we did with Giroud. We now don't need to cringe when Zlatan's not on the field. They could even play together if needed.
But I am not convinced by anyone else in that attacking 3rd.
Rebic - on and off. If he hits form, he's great. But when not in form, the guy has a hard tine even controlling the ball.
Leao - what's there to say. He was given this talent. But he looks uninterested to make the most of it. He looks more concerned with being chill and cool on the field, rather then busting his ass and trying to make something happen.
Brahim - we saw glimpses of his talent last year. He's got all that's needed. But not sure he fully convinced for us to be comfortable about handing him the keys to the ACM starting position.
Saelemaekers - underrated for sure. But needs an end product. Not starting material yet. But if he keeps improving, he could get there. Just not there yet. Not even comparable to other top RWs in Europe.
Samu - everyone and their mother seems to see that he needs to go. But, he seems set to stay. So that's that.

So that's our attacking third options. Hard working, for sure. But whereas some are struggling to fulfill potential, others are simply nowhere near the necessary quality level. Then there is Rebic, who is just too inconsistent.
So although we've done well in securing Tomori and Tonali, replacing Donnarumma with Maignan, and getting ourselves a Theo and Ibra backups/rotations in Ballo Toure and Giroud....imo, we have not yet addressed the most important part, which is that attacking 3rd line behind Zlatan. Hopefully something happens in these final 3 weeks of the market. I'm hopeful, but time is running out.
