He almost didn't play and was many times completely overlooked by Pioli and still tripled his value... Imagine what could have been if he had been handled better. Of course, there are no guarantees though.

Hey Pioli how you doin'?
Please tell me that you had never imagined, not even for a second Florenzi in front of Calabria on the right before accepting this move. Still getting a new RW, right? Positive?? Sincerely, C

It is ironic that Florenzi is the solution for backup RB, back up RW, backup CM.
Alessandro Florenzi = Dalot + Bakayoko + Castillejo

I am not a fan of Hauge after seeing how he play nowadays. If you don't get much chances then you better play your heart out when you got on the field. I didn't see that in him. We need to ship krunic and Samu off now to clear the deadwood, that would be wonderful news.
Krunic, Samu and Conti out should give us a bit of a cushion to make a signing.
Also, the Romagnoli contract situation has to be resolved. He has to sign an extension or be sold. I like the Florenzi news. Better then Dalot for sure. And Utd's requests on Dalot were insane anyway. He did not play well enough to cost a fee. He didn't play well enough for us to even buy him outright. So another loan + option (maybe an obligation under certain individual performance related things) was correct. Glad Maldini has called it a day on that and moved to Florenzi. I'm holding out hope for a loan for one of Barca's outcasts. Coutinho played no part in the Juventus game. A loan could be possible. For the RW, Ilicic is fine to split time with Saele. Not ideal. But I just don't see us having money for anything better then that. I'm hoping Saele really picks it up this year. He has good attributes. But he totally loses his head in the attacking 3rd. That was also the case against Real. Good work, hard work in midfield....then shits his pants when it came time to make a good pass or combination play in the attacking 3rd. Almost always resulting in a loss of possession and killing the attacks. What happened with the Adli kid btw? He's still in Ligue 2? And with all the Pobega rumors going on....we'll need another CM.

Have you ever considered that's probably because he doesn't feel the confidence of the coach and the club? He's a kid for God's sake, playing in a major league, major club, for the first time. And he knew whatever he does it's not gonna be enough as he'll be benched for the next 7 games. That's more than enough to mess up with a kid's morale and self belief. I remember clearly that wasn't how he started - he was bright enough in his first few games. Samu and Krunic can play sh!t every week and are guaranteed for playing time the next match. And if we can excuse Leao as "still young, he'll come good", why not Hauge?

Florenzi is a perfect addition ..
Messi to PSG official.. Am I the only one who doesn't buy this whole sob story of Messi leaving Barca? It's so full of BS - I honestly think Messi could've taken a huge pay cut if he truly wanted to stay he didn't need 35m a year. Money talks simple as that. He could've also chose to go to a more storied club, but he chose PSG of all clubs - the club that never wins sh!t. $$$$$$$ talks Come on Maldini make Dybala happen!! |
