Summer mercato 2021
Agreed. Ounas can be a very good option for us.

Time is ticking....

Gotta get rid of Samu so that we can replace him. Otherwise i'm afraid we'll stay as we are at RW. What happened to Amine Adli? After all that hype in the beginning of the summer, he's still in Ligue 2 with Toulouse.

I can't see us signing both Bakayoko and Yacine Adli. Adli seems like a CM. True CM. Not a holding mid but not an attacking one as well. I definitely don't see him scoring any goals or making runs into the box on any youtube videos. So if we were to buy him and Bakayoko...then we'd have a full house in terms of CMs (Benna, Kessie, Tonali, Bakayoko, Adli). Are we going to use one of them a bit higher up (Inverted triangle)? Could be...otherwise I don't see why we'd bring both of them and not an ACM.

I keep bringing Coutinho up....but that's because it'd be a great deal imo. One of the other main candidates for his signature, Arsenal, just signed Odegaard. So I think they're definitely out of that race. Interestingly enough, it leaves only Lazio...but those scrubs can't even register the players they've bought due to financial issues. So how the heck will the afford Coutinho? Of course...there is always the EPL. You can always have a West Ham or a Wolverhampton come in and offer these crazy salaries. But who knows. A return to Liverpool was mentioned early on in the window...but it's disappeared. I'd be all over this. The guy is quality...although yes, injuries are an issue. I get that.

Coutinho and Diaz at ACM would be great choices.
Then take Yacine Adli for CM.
Sell Krunic and Samu, loan Pobega.
Sign the other Adli (Amine) to share the RW spot with Saelemaekers.
Florenzi loan for RB and even RM option in a 442.
And we are set.
The cherry on the cake would be a young striker.
I didn't want to see Bakayoko again in Milan colour... That is such a desperate move from management. Thought we should have targeted Denis Zakaria, available for cut short deal as his contract is expiring in 2022, lure him with UCL.
Forza Diavolo ale!!!
if lazio is in a mess, why not get luis alberto from them
They may be a mess....but they still won't sell Alberto for anything less then 35-40M.

On the other hand...our problem is no longer FFP...but now it seems to be cash flow. Or at least Elliot is unwilling to pump cash in right now. In any case, this is the exact reason we are going dor these loan + options/obligations deals. Whereas the last year or 2, Elliot was willing to invest and pump cash...but FFP was a bit of a block.
Luis Alberto has been a wonderful player over recent years but my biggest fear with him is getting another Biglia lol

I would love Countinho as the CAM too, but I think the issue is Pioli doesn't want a player like him in his system. Pioli wants someone who is more of a two way player as CAM, someone who can attack and run like hell when on defense. Coutinho is more than capable of making magic as an offensive player, but he doesn't have the work rate and legs to run around on defense. That is why Pioli likes Hakan so much. Unless Pioli changes his mind about how he sees the position, I just don't think Coutinho would fit.

I agree on Pioli's thoughts. Doesn't make him right though. And then, who is that player? We're better off with an offensive weapon then nobody at all.

I don't know. I feel like we are close to being a realllly good team. The pieces are there. We just meed 1-2 very good signings. It's too bad we seem to have no cash to complete those.
Florenzi medical due next 24 hour's. Among other thing's what excites me about this signing means NO Dalot!

Milan want to sign Isco at zero cost. Real Madrid want to offload Isco but want a financial compensation. Isco’s exit will remain an option until August 31. Milan, without haste, know Real want to get rid of his salary. In addition, both clubs maintain great rapport.

Everything seems agreed now with Adli, so that shouldn't be far away from a medical.

Bakayoko and Berardi are still linked.
More about Berardi :

Berardi is a name that hovers, for Fiorentina, for Milan but I believe that if a team approaches Berardi, Sassuolo will shoot high figures (DM)

Sky: Berardi is thinking of leaving Sassuolo. Milan and Fiorentina are interested, but Sassuolo is ready to ask a very high price. Hence, a transfer is difficult

Pedulla: A formula similar to Tonali's deal could unlock Berardi to Milan. A high loan fee with obligation under certain conditions.

Would love Coutinho but not sure I see it happening.

I think this is more a Covid thing. hesitant to pump the cash in because they're not sure how the season will go. WE've signed a bunch of new sponsors and everything but if we keep spending then we're no further forward than we were last season.

Yep. We've got most of the right pieces. I feel we're missing the final piece or two and that's a good CAM and Startigng RW.

I know many here don't like him but I like Berardi. Will be interesting to see if this actually happens but we desperately need a RW and Samu to go.
