Summer mercato 2021

Maldini needs to figure out something for future signings so we don't have this issue.

PSG bench all star team being built

Not much we can do about it, other than prepare for selling players no matter what when they have at least two years left on their contracts. So in reality when you have a player who signs a 5 year contract and does well, he can stay for 3 years before we have to ship him out and not play this waiting game.
Once we have continued champions league and a chance of success players won't want to leave as fast just for €€€.We also need to be able to pay those astronomical wages and transfer fee's , that will take quite a few years. Its so hard for a team to break into the elite of clubs and just as hard for a former powerhouse to do so.
When players have two years left on their contract, we either extend or sell, that has to be our policy moving forward. We can't afford to let 50m players walk away for nothing every year. The income we generate from CL basically gets cut in half just to get a Kessie backup. We can't build any momentum like that.

The issue with that is that the ones who have disappointed we don't want to renew. Or we'll end up with a bunch of Castillejo-cases.

The ones that have actually done well will ask astronomical salaries, like Donnarumma and Kessie, because they know they can get more elsewhere.

So we're more likely to end up having to sell.
Can't say that I am surprised too much with Kessie. He was one of our key players last season and at the moment maybe even the most valuable asset. If that 6.5m offer is the best we can offer and he rejects it, than the only solution are the stands or bench. Tonali should never ever be behind him in team selection. Kessie should be choice only when no one other is available. Now when staduims are open, he will definitely get booes. Management should do everything to avoid this issue to influence on the team.
Kessie can go if these demands are true. ONE excellent season and you think you deserve triple pay rise? GTFO!
Bakayoko might not be as good but he with Tonali will fill the void. Adli and Pobega back in next season as well could minimize Franck's money grubby hands. And I thought Benchrumma and cuckold where snakes !
Ribery to Salernitania. Good for them. Ribery's obviously not the player he was and hasn't been for about 5 year's, but, good for them.

Tonali got 2 assists and cause an own goal for the Italian U21, he is really starting to regain his confidence and his performances tell. I don't see why Kessie should be starting any game for this team anymore. Bennacer, Tonali, Bakayoko will do fine, even Krunic has shown he can do the job if required. Show everybody we mean business and any player that want to play the waiting game will get the same treatment.
Kessie does not deserve 6,5 mil euros per year since like many have said, he has only one good season. I don't care if he leaves, club is bigger than a player. We can not follow what PSG are doing, that's pretty bad for the team in the long term. We are aiming stability for our team both in financial capability and team's performance. If we give what Kessie wants, others will follow to do like Kessie would have done. It's really bad for us.

Players today are so greedy, they think they are Zlatan Ibrahimovic. One good season and they think they deserve world class income? Big LOL.

Someone on twitter reminded everybody that Barella (same age as Kessie) signed a contract this year for 4.5
