Summer Mercato 2022
Origi, Scamacca, Belotti. Going by the media, we've signed them all.

Bottom line, nobody knows anything.

4m/season basically. Not bad, he impresses me but he's not known for his goal scoring. Definitely talented.

He will be 27 next month. Talented?!

€4m per season for a Liverpool reserve...
Salary is probably high because he's be coming for free. That's the way it is these days. You save on a transfer fee but end up paying premium on the salary.

Anyhow, it could be worse. I know he's a reserve in Liverpool, but that's not quite a shame these days. I figured we wouldn't be making a splash on a CF. So Origi, or Belotti or anyone like that is what I expected. I hope the "splash" happens on a RW.
Berardi become the 3rd youngest player to score 100 goals in Serie A - not including players from Juventus, Inter and Milan.

He should be our top priority this Summer.
That’s not too high. I mean it is 4mil but we get that tax break so closer to 3 right?

I’m more for Belotti than this guy. From all I’ve seen, they are similar. Origi has that CL experience we really need. But Belotti has the Seria A experience. For me, that is more important as Belotti has played for Italy in the big stage. Either way, it looks like management has a type.

I heard the Scamacca rumors. For me, he is the player we need. Whether we get him or not is another matter. I just think with his physicality and technique, we would be set for a few years.

Like Inas said though, we literally have no idea what’s going on.
I'm happy to see we're linked to Parisi again. FBT or Krunic should be offered to Empoli for him. Under Theo, Parisi will do well.

Parisi and Viti would be the two I would target from Empoli since they both offer what we need - young LB and CB- and keep our Italian quota on track.

Because he's 27 he's not talented lol? He's a good player IMO. Only reason he's a sub is because just look at pools attack... Not to mention their starters like Firmino and Salah are earning excess of 12m euros a season each lol

I think we're all forgetting that 4m a season nowadays isn't much

That being said Belotti on a free would be better.
Scamacca scored 13 goals in 1525 minutes -> 117.3 mintues for a goal.
Vlahovic scored 20 goals in 2316 minutes -> 115.6 minutes for a goal.

Based on that foundation stats, both players are similar. Both Fiorentina and Juventus are stronger than Sassuolo, Scammacca only started in 2/3 of his matches.
(Ibra: 916/8 = 114.5 mintues/goal; Giroud: 1272/8 = 159 minutes/goal; all stats are Serie A = our realistic aim)

Our 4-2-3-1 really needs such a big and strong target man, we get results when Ibra and Giroud are on form. Rebic as CF only works as a surprising effect. Belotti is quite similar to Rebic, high work rate but low output, though Belotti is a more reliable scorer. Origi, IMO, is also good at pressing for his time at Liverpool, making him the same type as Rebic or Belotti.

We are not Barcelona to play swift and smooth passing in the opponent area, recent matches showed that the players are slow to make decision when the penalty zone is near. Having a reliable target man is really helpful.

So I think a real target man like Scamacca (Ibra, Giroud) is even more important than a RW. If we couldn't make a deal with him or a similar one, Ibra should stay another season to train Lazetic along with Giroud, we will rotate 2 veterans and 1 rookie and focus on other attacking position (CAM, RW).
Scamacca is a great addition but we have to look at finance too, Belotti would most preferable choice for us, getting Origi would be nice too but not only Origi.
Forza Diavolo ale!!!
Rudiger will comes to Juve with 6.5M wage (La Gazzetta dello Sport).
