Problem with Raspadori is that he is going to cost a good amount of money, and we can't spend that type of money on a change of pace striker. If we are spending 30M, we have to get someone who is starting every game at CF. And the issue is, Raspadori is so small, he would not be able to provide the physical presence up front to help us score headers and open up space for others.

but messi when played as a striker or false nine still able to do it, so does a few others small strikers there, it depends on what type of game you are trying to play

Messi had a great passing team behind him, the same applied to Dries Merten and "Sarri ball" Napoli.

Other short players must be very muscular to play CF: Alexis Sanches, Tevez...

Milan play quite direct with a lone striker so a typical target man is the suitable choice.

So it is hard to find Raspadori a starting place.

And we need A Raspadori type upfront. We have both Giroud and Zlatan as target men which we can change the gameplan with.

Relying on Giroud or Zlatan despite their legendary careers is not a safe bet if we're competing on all fronts.

I would still say to cut that money on a CB. Botman is too expensive and not really a need of an hour. Making a big RW signing someone of Raphinha stature should be our core target. Sanches is injury prone, need to think twice/thrice before signing him.

Watching Lazio - Sassuolo now, and Scamacca is absent. Kind of hangs out up there but doesn't get involved much at all. Even when Sassuolo is in the final 3rd, he is not mobile enough. There are not many runs from him. He doesn't demand the ball. Doesn't make the back line move much. He is easy to mark. He's done this a few times I've watched him. There is no way I would drop 30M on him.

Raspadori, as always, very mobile. Very involved. Great quality from him. He looks like Diaz to be honest. So he could easily slot in at that spot for us.

Gonna make a wild prediction and say that Raspadori is not Messi lol. Yes, some systems can make the false 9 thing work, but we are not one of those teams. We don't have the passing, movement and dribbling in our attack to make a false 9 work.
