Journalist Enzo Bucchioni has claimed that AC Milan want to sign Paulo Dybala when his contract expires at Juventus and could make an exception regarding his salary. 

The wage saved on Kessie and Romagnoli could go towards Dybala as he could be a difference maker.




I read elsewhere that wages for incoming players has already been planned for so it will be interesting to see if any of this is true.
Currently , I still don't  expect Dybala at Milan.

if we sign dybala, that would be a coup, but at what cost, if we sign him, we should build the team around him, but seeing this team, it can be built around him, the question is, can he play as a lone striker or amc position? at 28 it would be like signing inzaghi in the old days

I think Dybala is a great signing even on 8m. He's free.. You're talking about a 28 year old still in his prime with a lot to offer who was easily 100m a year or two ago. Even if he costs us 20-30m in wages over a 3-4 year deal he's still a bargain because you don't get that quality for 20-30m euros maybe even half the player he is. I mean Berardi will cost 15-20m let's even say 15m plus 3m of wages for 3-4 years another 12m.... He'll cost us nearly same as Berardi lol

I would take him, as much as I love Zlatan I would sacrifice his wage for Dybala

The best I've read on the Dybala dilemma. The argument for signing him on that salary can actually be justified on the premise that he's coming free! He's at his prime age and, things being equal, will practically solve our AM/AMC/SS problem. We have a wage regime/ceiling, yes, but I don't think there is a single club where this sort of thing is implemented 100%. There are always exceptions. We have a wage ceiling yet made exception for Zlatan. Why can't or shouldn't we do the same for Dybala? Where else can you get a similar talent for FREE?! You can't get a "Paulo Dybala" even for 30m. In any case, I'd rather give Dybala 8m than sign Asensio and give him 6m.

Of course this operation depends on Zlatan not renewing, or at least drastically reducing his salary.

And, most importantly, we all assuming the rumors are true [emoji24][emoji16]

Why do you bother so much with wage structure. You a are a football fan not a Elliot shareholder. Just see it like this, if we had Dyballa instead of Diaz this season, we would be champions.

I guess an easy prediction is that players like Dybala, even at free transfer, are 'too early' for Milan. That Milan will need another CL season(s) to decide to increase wage bill. The Ibra savings will be already spent on raises to Theo, Leao, etc.

We really don't need much. I think we are 2 players away from having a starting 11 that can compete against anyone (RW and ACM). The bench than becomes a different issue, but to have a full quality squad will take a bit more time.
I know quality depth is necessary and very important, but I hope we don't spend all available funds on depth. Botman and Sanches seem to be depth signings (if they happen). By that, I don't mean they are not going to start, but what I mean is they are players that play in positions that are already well covered in terms of starters. By most rumors, we'd be spending around 50M on both these players, whereas I hope that 50M goes towards a RW and ACM first.

We also have enough youth and promise in this team. We need a Dybala in this team. Prime superstar player who can make shit happen. Diaz doesn't cut it for me

I wonder if Dybala would accept an Ibra like compromise? I think I read that Ibra resigned last year but wage was contingent on games played g(or available). Dybala is a clear superstar, but he will probably want a three year deal. Can we afford to have that amount of wage tied up in him? More importantly, will Elliott?

Do you see us playing CL football for the next three years? I think yes. And so I believe if we can qualify for CL three years in a row, we can definitely afford the wage.
