MilanNews journalist Antonio Vitiello gave a brief update on the future of Rebic on his YouTube channel (via Francesco Nasato), stating that the former Eintracht Frankfurt man is liked by German and French teams, and there will be scouts present at San Siro tonight.
Lol @ those thinking Leao is worth 90m and someone would pay that for him.
Investcorp news is the best.
However, the stadium depends on the hard head major of Milano city.
Milan captain Alessio Romagnoli is on the verge of a free transfer to Lazio after his entourage met the club this afternoon. The encounter was meant to be next week, but Sportitalia transfer pundit Alfredo Pedullà confirmed it had been brought forward.
According to him and Calciomercato.com, the meeting was successful and they are now very confident of striking a deal. His contract with Milan is due to expire on June 30 and negotiations for an extension have broken down completely.

Advanced talks between #InvestCorp fund and #Elliott Management Corp. for #ACMilan. Invest Corp would like to close #Milan's deal within the end of the season to build their project from this summer #transfers window
This whole Investcorp thing makes me nervous. I know they are from the middle east and there are a ton of oil fueled billionaires in that region, but I really don't feel comfortable not being able to attach a name to the company. Like, who are they? What have they done? What are they trying to do here? This might sound crazy but I don't want to go back to the Berlusconi days where the team was basically an owner's pet that he gets to ditch anytime he felt like it. I want a sustainable team that can run on its own even without owner pumping billions.
The whole thing with Investcorp should not distract us from our plan. Of course it should be great to have more funds to bring quality to the club. But another “Mirabelli-Fassone” fiasco and overpaid mediocrity would destroy what Maldini-Massara have been built the last years. The club overachieved and did great things the last 3 years and should get support in this direction. Meaning invest in great potential and bring quality in terms of 3-4 positions where we have our weaknesses.
After Milan’s 2-0 win over Genoa last night, the executive chairman of the Bahrain-based fund Investcorp – Mohammed Al Ardhi – congratulated the team on the win via a post on his Twitter account.
“Congratulations to #ACMilan back on top of the italian league. Happy Easter to the club, it’s fans and everyone observing this occasion #SempreMilan,” he said, in what was his first tweet in English for some time.
The news exploded yesterday, with Reuters among the authoratative sources to report that Investcorp are in exclusive talks to purchase Milan as per a source close to the deal. The source said the deal to buy the Serie A club is ‘close to being completed’ which suggests that things are moving quite fast.
Bloomberg (via MilanNews) added that Investcorp are close to buying the Rossoneri for a figure of around €1bn ($1.1bn), and added that they may have the backing of a state fund who are worth over $240bn in assets.
So we might go from a hedge fund to an investment group? Progress!
Maybe next we can get a proper owner.
