According to the latest news from il Sole 24 Ore, Investcorp and Elliott could put the first signatures down on documents signifying the transfer of ownership this coming Friday 29 April in what will be a deal worth €1.1bn.

Negotiations are continuing and the parties are protected by absolute secrecy, but it seems that several obstacles have now been overcome and that only some unexpected obstacles could prevent the signing being done.

Milan are very interested in signing Riyad Mahrez from Manchester City this summer. Mahrez’s contract with City ends in 2023. PSG also interested. With the arrival of Milan’s new investors the transfer fee shouldn’t be a problem.


I liked him at Leicester but haven't followed much of him at City. 
Anyone give any input?

Regarding Origi, he is a great backup even for the "Elliott Milan", he should be praised but not be relied on every match.

Barcelona have run into problems in trying to register Franck Kessie ahead of his proposed free transfer.

According to Sport (via Radio Rossonera) Barcelona are not currently in a position to finalise the arrival of the Ivorian because of the club’s precarious financial situation, which prevents them from registering new signings.

Kessie should work his ass out in the remaining matches because this could be his only trophy.

Barcelona have not yet escaped from the deep shit, there transfers especially Kessie is questionable.

It won't impact his signing ultimately. La Liga has rules against teams who take on excessive amount of debt from spending. Effectively, Barca has to shed a certain amount of money from their books in order to sign new players. They can do that by loaning out high waged players like they did with Countinho this past window. Either way, they will find a way to get all these free transfers registered.
