Venting, sell the club, etc. thread
FK this. Just look at buys around Europe. Chelsea (twice), Newcastle, PSG, City, etc... All done and completed within week or two without "extended negotiations" and "renegotiations". On the other side, those extended were Malaga and Milan ,we all know how those ended. If it drags itself as venzuelan telenovela just run away from it, it's fishy... Especially when, you know, it's going to be sold to "a guy" who knows "a guy" who will than transfer it to a third "guy", who took money from fourth "guy"...

I don't like them either. They're too cheap and they're mostly trying to run football as some wall street business, which is... Not saying they should act like "crazy" Russian/Arab folks, but some balance must be achieved.

American owners tend to focus more on the sustainability aspect of the development than short term successes. Take PSG, for example, they are spending hundreds of millions every year and looking stacked. But will they spend that much every year for the next 10-20 years? They will have to if they want to keep a team this stacked together. I am biased but I prefer the American model better. I don't want us to have to go through another late Berlu era again ever

I want self sistainability. Look at Bayern. That's what I think our model should be. We don't meed a sigar daddy. We don't need to be someone's toy. There is a way to run football as a business and be siccessful.

I think I know what you mean; however, comparing to Bayern isn't fair. They are monopolizing their league, and have had too much advantage because of that. They simply can't go under.

Bundesliga is Bayern's bitch, they can do whatever they want there. Same is not true in Italy where there are 3 mega 'clubs'. PL is more comparable to it where American model isn't much fruitful to Top clubs i.e MU and Assenal

I get it guys. But not sire how that has a lot to do with running a healthy and self-sustainable business. That's the part I want to compare with.
