I just woudn't understand ROmagnoli carrying out some acting job when nobody actually cares if he leaves. Messi had to cry for sympathy from an entire fan base that hated to see him leave lol.
Anyway, shitty reporting iMO. I'm more worried bout this RedBird take over. It's still early but this team is really on the brink of something and we need investment... I really hope we're not going to have to tighten up because it's the wrong time. Plus, we are already pretty tight. Our team salary is EXTREMELY low for a title winning side.

If I were Cardinale , I wouldn't invest anything before that time.

In for Ziyech , wanting to swap Rebic/Saelemakers/Pobega with Cash for Zaniolo.Still after De Ketelaere with Leicester and Leeds.Romagnoli wants a stay.
I think I'll take the weekend off looking at rumours.Im sure the journos haven't an iota what's actually going on.

Money for transfers is there. Has to be. Otherwise none of what Maldini is doing makes sense. What I'm saying is...Maldini kndw that Botman and Sanches were not going to be free players. They were both going to cost a decent amount. So why go on to agree personal terms with the agents of you have no money for the transfer???
Maldini has shown incredible discipline. Imo, this is one of ghe mosg important aspect of mamaging. Clear and calm head with doscipline. And I think the work that goes on behind the scenes (scouting and data mining for players) helps him a lot. No need to get into a bidding war and pay 40M for Botman when ghere is probably a list of players already. He himself said "Bootman is a good.player but there are many very good players in that position currently". I'm not trying to make missing out on a target positive. But I also don't think it's that grim. Espexially wjen it comes to the money. Because to me, this means there is money to be spent. Maybe the plan was not to spend 40m of it on Botman clearly. So we'll see what Maldini does with it now.

We just can't/won't get into bidding wars.
Lille has already sold us Leao and MM. Probably not wanting to sell is Botman AND Renato We have to go with loan options and freebies like what I'll post below

Hakim Ziyech has been offered to AC Milan through an intermediary. A Lukaku-style loan has been explored with Chelsea open to letting him go at the right price.
Milan are working on signing Ziyech from Chelsea on loan with option to buy. His current salary is €5.8M/year. Using the Growth Decree and the addition of bonus, agreeing personal terms with Ziyech won’t be a problem for Milan CdS AC Milan could sign 26 year old danish centre-back Andreas Christensen on a free transfer. The defender was supposed to join Barcelona which can't sign him due to bad financial situation. Why raid Lille when you can raid Chelsea ? |
