Summer Mercato 2022

After all, how effective a mercato is will only be seen when the league starts.

Agree. This team doesn't need a lot. We just need a couope touch ups. Not like we need 10 signings ans time is running out.
Post Scudetto can be about progress, especially for a team that talks about CL, not just its fans but its owners talk about it too.
My negativity is that the next steps for this team will not happen without spending. That it is easier to have 5 x 100 million summers than 1 x 500 million summer. Obviously not exact numbers but that's the type of thing for CL in my opinion (and the wages that go with it).
If we are happy with repeating scudettos (or top 4s) we should give Pioli one or two ~20 million players and try to strengthen youth sector, I don't see a need for more.
I wonder what the cut-off date for both CDK and Sanches is ?

It can't be far until we move to other target's.

Although a lot of media say that Management never went to bring back CDK but to mediate in person.I would take what Di Marzio says with a grain of salt. That guy lost a lot of credibility year's back. If I post him it's just conversation topic.
Nicolò Schira reoorts ACMilan are planning many contracts extensions in the next weeks. Milan are already working for Pierre #Kalulu, Fikayo #Tomori, Ismael #Bennacer and Tommaso #Pobega renewals.

Arguably as important as any new signing is keep our current winners together.

I agree.  Okmilan
Im not sure why we are listening to the media when they have been largely wrong (or at the least unverified) with their reports of MMM and their transfers.

I also can’t believe CDK was expected to board the plane with them. I mean practically speaking on a human level that sounds like kidnapping?

We can’t lose sight that the spine of this team is very strong, very young and will only improve. We are building around them.

If anyone wants to be freaking out, it really should be with the lack of renewals for Leao, possibly Benna (though I think he is more replaceable). Otherwise, let’s just accept MMM move slow, in secret and this team is already better than last seasons by virtue of Adli and Origi. Again, we don’t need to necessarily be much better with additions because Theo, Leao, Tonali, Kalulu, Calabria, Tomori will only get better.

Meeting between Milan and Club Brugge for De Ketelaere has ended. No agreement reached yet but meeting was positive. Meeting was cordial and negotiations will continue in the coming hours. There is serenity between parties in the hope of reaching a final agreement

None, with my little experience. I just remember 2 cases:
1. Barcelona flew to Dortmund an spend 120M for Dembele in panic (almost same at Liverpool) -> success in buying
2. Moggi send a team to Amsterdam for Ibra, but no lawyer (he tricked Raiola). So Raiola faked a lawyer and threatened Ajax -> success in buying

Without a strong agent and without a large amount of money, we should accept that.

Okmilan  CDK is just a chance (in a chance pool from our scout) to improve our promising squad.
Pellegatti: ACMilan to discuss 17-year-old midfielder during CDK talks with Club Brugge.

It makes more sense now why M+M went to Belgium . Talking about other talent as well.

Have to be positive if Maldini is positive about CDK arrival!
if we dont get cdk so be it, dont be negative about it, we will get someone, who is it, we dont know, atleast we see maldini now adressing the need of amc although i would like for us to upgrade the rw 1st, maybe we go there to swap between cdk and saele
Not sure if serious

Sportitalia: Maldini and Massara will head to France next in order to close with Sanches.
