If we don't make it out of this group, Pioli should be sacked!

But seriously, we should make it out. Always, this tournament has surprises but I hope this is not Milan.

i agree with this, chelsea is a shit show this year imo, i think we should be comfortably beat them, what i worry is dinamo and salzburg imo they are better than chelsea as a black horse, now im hoping chelsea would sack tuchel and replace him im sure they would replace him with someone alot worse than him, no way he can do a thing when he have this kind of shit team given by the new owner. americans dont know shit about football (still hoping we get pulisic Big Grin )

I'm surprised that everyone seems so optimistic. I think we have a pretty good squad, but it's like playing Benefica and Porto. These smaller league teams rest up for games like this because they don't have that inner league competition. We don't have that luxury to rest our starters (lack of depth). Also, we have some experience in CL, but not a lot. Having the scudetto under our belts, helps a lot.

I think with this draw, there is no way we sell Leao this window (though I thought it unlikely in the first place). No way we weaken ourselves against a direct rival in this competition. Our goal is to do better than last season.

I'm really hoping we can bring Serie A back on the map. Taking points from Chelsea and advancing will go a long way to showing Europe Serie a is more than just Juve and Inter...ewwww.

Is this the first time Thiago Silva comes up against Milan?

Oli back to Stamford Bridge with Fik who will want to stick it up his old employer hopefully.

Fixture list:
Sept 6: Salzburg - Milan
Sept 14: Milan - Dinamo
Oct 5: Chelsea - Milan
Oct 11: Milan - Chelsea
Oct 25: Dinamo - Milan
Nov 2: Milan - Salzburg

We need to start with 6 points before traveling to London. I have no doubts we'll qualify. But I want us to top the group. It socks that we play Chelsea twice in quick succession with Juventus between the 2 games. But it is what it is. This is where some good bench options will come in handy. Especially in the center of defense and in the middle.

Not terrible group but still Salzburg may cause some trouble. We need to be careful all the time. The game in Zagreb isn't easy either

I'm assuming for club we got Calabria, Pobega and Gabbia.
For nation it's Florenzi, Tonali and Mirante.

Yeah, nice to hear no news regarding Gabbia transfer.

We still need to "promote" 2 academy players. El Hiali is on form, last season he did quite well as a sub forward. Coubis has trained a lot with first team. Just my opinion.

We don't necessarily need to promote two academy players. What will likely happen is that we will have a smaller A list, instead of 17+4+4 (I think), we will have just 17+X+X.

The academy players can go to B List, which is unlimited in space anyway.
