Winter Mercato 11'/12'

Merkel's going to be in the squad for tonight I believe. Mesbah should complete his move today or tomorrow. He's here only on loan, Milan and Genoa still share half of Merkel's contract, as well as SES's.

Preziosi and Bronzetti (only transfer expert I trust) have both said they think Tevez will end up at Milan in January. Bronzetti also said Milan will go for another midfielder. Some untrustworthy site says we are bidding 4m for Montolivo. I'd rather get Monto for free, or pay 2m to get him now. We cannot really afford to pay 4m, that money must be used wisely.

Rumors last night were circulating (from only one source though) that Berlu's considering selling Milan to his Russian friends because of the outstanding debts again this year.

Sad to hear we're still fishing for Tevez. 30M could buy us a nice Midfielder Sad
with 30 mil. we will buy De Rossi :/

Sounds like BS. Berlusconi said he would only sell the club to a "good Italian owner".

Also, even the 0.5 billion Fininvest fine isn't that major considering Berlusconi's wealth (net assets 6.5 billions).

Since Kaka sale, we have only accumulated around 30-40m debt. Again, for Berlusconi it's nothing. (10m a year since 2009)

Our management would do the forcing to sign Montolivo right now ... The deal could be done in the next 48 hours if everything is ok. We would have offered 2-3M + probably a co-ownership of one of our young players for the next mercato. It looks like it could be a done deal soon as Fiorentina are looking for a new midfielder and if they refuse the offer, it should come in Milan for free this summer.
PS: 2 more midfielders is what we should have bought at the start of the season ... So if Montolivo comes, Montolivo + Merkel is a 6-month-too-late good deal.
One should not speak ill of the dead.
So stop laughing at Juventus !
Mesbah is officially a Milan player.

He's free in June. He's not leaving now. He Stays in Roma, or leaves in June for Free.

Regarding Berlusconi, I doubt he'll sell at this point. I'd be very surprised...

No January switch for Montolivo

One of the agents representing Fiorentina’s Riccardo Montolivo has rejected talk of a January move to Milan.

The Italian international, whose contract expires in June, has again been paired with the Rossoneri given their problems in midfield right now.

“As far as I know, there has been no type of request at all from the Rossoneri during this period,” Carlo Pallavicino told Lady Radio.

“It’s true that there are still 10 days to go in the transfer market, but an operation of this kind would take some time.

“I also think that Montolivo would like to leave Florence in a better manner than the unhappy reality that he is going through right now.”

The Viola are struggling this season. They are currently 13th in the standings, but only six points above the relegation zone.

Montolivo, signed by Fiorentina from Atalanta in the summer of 2005, has refused to extend his contract at the Stadio Franchi.

Milan remain the favourites to sign him on a Bosman at the end of the campaign.

Let's wait a few days ... The agent could say such a thing to get a better contract in Milan for his player. If Fiorentina really gets a new midfielder in the next few days, then, we'll have a chance.
The agent of Taiwo has put his client on the mercato by saying that the Nigerian LB is unhappy because he doesn't play and they will consider the offers if there are any before the end of the mercato ...

Strassser is apparently back at Milan to treat his injury. However, he is unavailable for the whole season.
