I don't know why everybody says Tevez is a troublemaker on the dressing room. As far as I know he never seeks problem with any of his team-mates. And he is also not selfish, IMO he has Robinho's workrate, Ibrahimovic's flair, and potential Pato's goalscoring instinct, at least not too different than those three, so... he's OK.

Because you can't have young players have a role model like that. You can't have an idiot who refuses to enter the game in your team and hope for a good atmosphere. And he's selfish, trust me, I watched a lot of City's games in the last year (b/c of Dzeko), and there aren't a lot of bigger "lets dribble the ball into the goal, open teammates nonwithstanding" players. He's like Allen Iverson of football. He has talent, nobody cant deny that, but he simply isn't worth even half the money City is asking. Not to mention we have MUCH bigger priorities than another attacker.

Balotelli's the biggest idiot I've ever seen. Not only the off-field trouble, the back heels in pre-season, fights with teammates in practice, laziness in training, and not being able to put on a penny practice jersey, he also is a bit overrated IMO. He's a good striker, but I don't know why everyone wants him here. He'd be very expensive (both wages&transfer), and for me he's a big NO. I'm happy with our strikers the way they are. El Shaaraway is young, immensely talented, and seems to be a classy guy.

Damn, fans have such short memory that it's embarrassing.
Before Cassano's illness he was pretty much the main star for Italy and a top 3 star for Milan. It wasn't even that long ago. But now everyone thinks of him like he is some average player.

Cassano is great but Tevez is better. Tevez is actually one of the few players who can win a game in one move. Game winning goal or assist ain't something that shows up on stats sheet, but I am sure Tevez tops Cassano in that department. As for him being selfish last season, well, he was gunning for the scoring title and Dzeko only came in mid season, us the whole attack for City did evolved around Tevez.
You cannot be unselfish when t comes to scoring goals. Pippo might gets offside 6 times a game or pass to his partner instead of shoot at goal, but as long as he scores, who cares.

It looks like Maxi Lopez will be a Milan player this week at best, this Summer at worst because there is an agreement between both clubs and the player.

Tevez could arrive this week, well, nothing is done, but despite what said the guy from MC, it's still some 50-50 as the player refuses everything but Milan.

If Tevez arrives or if both players arrive, El Sharaawy will have less playing time and will have to learn and learn and learn in trainings, like he did during this first part of the season.

Actually, I think the strategy is the following:
- getting Tevez and Maxi Lopez
- letting Inzaghi go/retire at the end of the season
- selling Pato and using El Sharaawy as our new rising star (thanks to what he has showed so far in 2012)
- waiting for the come back of Cassano to see what to do with him (anyway, if he can play football again, I'm sure we will keep him, maybe as a joker)

Currently: Ibra, Robinho, Pato, El Sharaawy + Inzaghi + Cassano

If Tevez and Maxi Lopez arrive now: Ibra, Robinho, Pato, Tevez, El Sharaawy, Maxi Lopez + Inzaghi + Cassano, but we can stop counting on Cassano for this season, and that means we could retire Inzaghi from that list.

After this Summer: Ibra, Robinho, Tevez, El Sharaawy, Maxi Lopez + Cassano

Then, if it's what our management plans to do, just hope for that to happen or not happen depending on if you like it or not ...

Personnally, I didn't have any hopes that any midfielder would arrive this Winter (nor anyone actually). We got rid of Taiwo and replaced him (at least, getting rid of Taiwo is a good thing, even if Mesbah isn't a WC LB), we got Merkel (a good thing for us and the player), and we're maybe going to get a striker. While I think it's useless and even ridiculous to get 2 new strikers, I'd say that having one more striker could be a good thing as Cassano is out, Inzaghi isn't in the plans of Allegri and Pato is injured.

I'd say that during this mercato, we did better than any of my hopes !!

(If we could get another midfielder, not even a WC one, just a good midfielder, it would be a good thing too but there are no more rumour about us wanting Montolivo right now, etc)
