By God Morata is a bit underwhelming. I mean he's never prolific and that's despite playing for an excellent Juve and good Atletico and Real. Giroud while old was still doing decent at Chelsea getting double figures 3 years in a row despite being backup. I don't see this Morata deal going roo well. He can hold up the ball well but he ain't getting 20+.

The whole mercato is just typical Milan. Is anyone surprised its playing out like a joke, I mean top quality comedy for non Milan fans.

Morata is basically another Giroud type of signing, a bridge to...who the hell knows what at this point. Very disappointing because it was reported we were gonna drop some serious cash and actually fix the position this summer, since we don't have a ton of holes to fill. Now we are onto another bridge guy who can't really elevate us in any meaningful way. Zero ambition

Arsenal's rejected bid was €45m + €5m add-ons, Bologna want €50m + add-ons.

I don't think they would suddenly sell him to us for €10m + €2m which is probably as high as we would go...

Yeah, 4 years is crazy. At least 1 year too much. At least at €5.5m annual salary.

It's hard to believe we would sign Morata at this stage. Seems to go straight against the transfers I thought the owners wanted (apart from low transfer fee).
