€20m fixed fee plus add-ons. Bellanova has also agreed on personal terms.
Prime Dani Alves incoming?

20 mil euros really?

Another player we could have made nice money on with Milan Futuro. It’s crazy how many players aren’t first team quality but still can generate decent sums we have lost over the last decade.

So did Morata. He also brings a winning mentality from years of success. We all see that the players need that.
This is why the Futuro project is so critical. We have let go so many of these young players for very cheap, only for them to blossom and become 20M+ players in a few years. There is a major gap between our junior set up to the first team, and we needed that bridged because the loan system does not work for us at all.
But we should be patient with the Futuro, as the income does not come early.
Juve Next Gen established in 2018, but this season is the first time they reap what were sowed with: Soule (25M), Huijsen (15M), Iling-Junior (14M), De Winter (8M), and Barrenechea (8M)

The beginning consists of a lot questionable purchases: Daouda Peeters (4M), Alejandro Marqués (8M), Giacomo Vrioni (4M), Luca Zanimacchia (4M), Félix Correia (10M), Marley Aké (9M), Mattia Compagnon (4M)

Ajax have recently bought Lord Rugani. You can imagine the state of the club  Icon_lol2

Well. One is 30 and the other one is 19. One is on his way down and the other one is (hopefully) on his way up. If both were at the peak of their careers I would buy your argument.

Imagine how many talents we have not given proper chances because of old crap players, and some still turned out to be ok/good.

Valid question of course.

He played 15 matches for Ajax first team last season. Milan Futuro seems like a step down. Milan first team seems like a big step up. And we have nothing in between...

I'm sure if FBT had turned out to be a terrific signing, the conversation would be " Maldini as an elite defender can really spot and nurture defenders!"

Ajax is bad in recent times. Finish 5th in 2 horse race league, was fighting relegation till matchday 10 or something.

Our primavera is actually decent, I always envied Inter, Atalanta, Juve, Roma for their primavera but I realised we aint that bad after seeing many of our passouts are doing much better than their counterpart. If I consider this season only, 3 of our ex Primavera players made move to big clubs- Bellanova, Brescianni, Larsen(25M move to Wolves).
Forza Diavolo ale!!!
