Cheap clueless management + mediocre coach = Midtable ambitions

NOBODY, I repeat, nobody can call our management cheap. When you pay 15m for a player like Emerson Royal, that's the highest order of charity. 

My memory is blurry now, so I wonder when it was the last time that we started a season with 1 point after two games (not to mention it was Parma and Torino).

This is just horrendous. Is this a nightmare? Overpaid players with no passion for the shirt. God i miss Tonali..

I actually broke my PS controller over Leao. Yes he got an assist, but was horse shit or worse for the rest of the match. RLC cant play anymore for this side. He has NOTHING to offer! Keep Bennacer, and play the pivote of Bennacer- Fofana and Reijnders further forward.

The worst tonight was actually the euphoria after the goal and we got the subs with Fofana and Royal on the pitch. I was actually 100% sure we would turn this around then, but no. Royal was really bad and Fofana was prett invicible.

Maybe controversial, but Pavlovic was my MVP for Milan tonight, and that says it all when he was partly at fault for both goals. But he actually saved 3/4 more goals to Parma with some fantastic interceptions. He was also cool as a cucumber with the ball. He is a good signing. Just need time.

My rating 1-10:

- Maignan: 6. Could do nothing with the goals, great save in the first half.
- Calabria: 5. Offers nothing, and a liabilty in defence.
- Tomori: 5. No awarness at all. Just all over the place and was toyed by Bonny. Horrible.
- Pavlovic: 6,5. Structural mistakes on the goals, but made a lot of great last ditch tackles. Will be a great player for us.
- Theo. 5,5. Looks so uninspired and fatigued. Partly involved in the 1-1 goal.
- Musah: 5. Very bad defensively, and a few horrible passes. A might to forget.
- Reijnders: 6. One of the few that tries, but he also gets caught napping a lot on the counters.
- Pulisic: 6. Easy goal, and always has the right attitude, but not at all a great show.
- RLC: 5. What does that clown do for our team? He has NOTHING to offer both ways. Terrible. He was almost at a 4.
- Leao: 5. Yes and assist, but he gave away the ball for the 2-1 goal, and is horrible in important positions. Horrible! Please Barca, come and get him.
- Okafor: 5. Is a sub player, almost invicible.


I dont know where we go from this? Fonseca has a Mount Everest to climb to get this team on track. There is not pattern in the play, no passion, no leadership, our defence is in shambles, our attackers just cant get put the ball in the net. Whe have met two average teams and stands with one point. Next up is Lazio, and in week 5 its Inter. If everything goes straght to hell. w could stand on 4 points(I suggest we beat Venezia at home).

If i where Fonseca i would do the only thing you should do, keep it easy. Play on counters. We have a counter attacking team, not a creative team, it says it all when RLC should play the strings in attack.

Play Leao- Chuky on the wings, Okafor in the middle, and Reijnders behind. Reijnders has the passing quality on counters, Leao and Chuky have the speed and dribbling. Okafor moves a lot and open up space. If you alle remember when table turned for Milan in 2021, we where fantastic at counters. Leao, Rebic, Theo was creatin havoc against everyone. We have a speedy team, why not use that advantage!

Are you serious? He says that the team lack desire, attitude and so on, but if the boss himself says that matches like this is not motivating, you should be fired straight away!

Fonseca just get everything wrong. If you look back at the friendlies, the first game and this game then he changed almost the whole team every time. To add to that he changed basically the whole team at halftime in the friendlies. I thought even a retarded monkey would understand that when you come into a new team you start up with consistency so that the team get some cohesion and teamplay. Just between first game and this game there were only 4 outfield players starting in the same positions and out of those only RLC been used extensively in pre-season. Then he add that up by putting on subs that are even less familiar with the team and tactics (Emerson and Fofana). This is were you put on Bennacer who played plenty under him and in the team already.

At least Pavlovic was good and under another manager I bet he could be a rock in defense.

I didn't watch last season much at all. Now watching Milan I am a bit shocked by the level of the players we brought in then, even if I know Pulisic can have a much higher level than this. RLC under Pioli at least offered a few goals when running into the area. The RLC we see under Fonseca is a horror show and one of the most awkward "10" I ever witnessed. His technique is poor, his passes is poor, his vision is bad. He is strong and a good runner, two things he have next to no use in this position. and he was kept on the whole game?? !! ??
Chukwueze is about as poor as I expected ever since we bought him. Sure a couple of good crosses in preseason, but that was when he got the space for them. Now he just lose the ball.
Reijndeers is a good dribbler, he has good vision and a strong shot. Out of everyone, bar Liberali he is the most natural to play as a "10", yet we barely seen him there. Deeper in midfield he is pretty poor defensively and he play the ball to slow. I saw several times he did unneccesary feints and fakes instead of passing the ball. A team like Parma take that slowing down of play and say "thank you".
Tomori has regressed greatly, he need a smart player or a leader beside him. Not sure Pavlovic is that guy, he is more of a warrior.

If Fonseca keep on changing the whole team again then he truly lost the plot. The irony here, me and many else here WANT him to drop a couple of players.

Dont think we’ve ever looked this bad in the last few years. Maybe we just need someone like Allegri who can make us defensively stable again. I’m sick and tired of this kind of defending, how can we leave so much space like everywhere all the time. Unbelievable, we looked like amateurs.

As a new coach you know exactly what our flaws are, yet you let them play exactly the same. Instruct your players to stay back a bit and dont attack with everyone like headless chickens. It doesn’t matter to be a bit boring in the beginning, try to be defensive stable. Not attack with both fullbacks high up the pitch and even our central defenders halfway up their pitch. Incredible amateurish stuff.
