Btw, Maldini gave away the most valuable players this club had in the last 10 years, for free. I'm sure if Moncada did that, guys would've taken a gun to his house.
Stefano Pioli is officially the new coach of Al Nassr, where he will be working with Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcelo Brozovic in the Saudi Pro League.
Sky Sport Italia report it is a three-year deal worth €12m per season. Pioli had to terminate the existing deal that he still had with Milan, who had sacked him in May and were still therefore paying his salary.
Pioli getting paid more than Milan’s management put together...

Not true, Theo and Leao are those and he bought them.
Of course losing those players were a loss, but I am not entirely sure he could have avoided it. Hakan is probably the biggest loss there as I think he would have stayed if we just valued him like... Origi.  Kessie I think was hellbent on leaving for free (or getting a wage Maldini couldn't offer (by management)), while Dollarumma should have been sold a year before he left.
Make no mistake, the above stories are close to being repeated with a couple of our current players as their contracts are outgoing. Not talking about Calabria, but I suspect he will go somewhere and start performing again.
I understand you are not keen on Maldini or anyone mentioning him. But the fact is that we had our two best seasons since 2011 under him. Results speak for themselves and the results are not flattering right now.

No it wont stop until someone does better than Maldini. Which means us winning a scudetto and at least another CL semi final. + some transfers with players becoming as valuable as Theo, leao, mike and tonali…
They kicked out a club legend who as a sporting director took us out of the banter era and made us serie A champions again while balancing the books!! Its an incredible performance.

Not to mention Origi, FBT, and a host of other useless fodder. Losing Kessie, Donna, Hakan for free. And last time I checked we finished 5th with him in charge as well.
See, if you wanna hang on to Maldini's apron till eternity, good, be my guest. But this penchant of always ascribing every good thing to him and then finding convenient excuses for his horrible deeds and deals is just funny and ironic.

Nope, far from it. I just felt it's like beating a dead horse. Very boring and tedious. It's time people move on. We can't keep talking about Maldini for every single thing that comes up.

Fonseca needs to go. He's lost the plot. We look like utter shit. Even in the one game we won this season, we looked like utter shit. I think he's lost the players. I don't see any fight in them. There is no belief. They put their heads down every time there is a mistake and every time an attack goes wrong. They don't believe in whatever the tactical setup is supposed to be. Defensively, this is the worst Milan I've seen since Pippo's Milan. But at least that one had shit players. This one has good players....but they look like fish out of water.
No need wait for the derby. We are just delaying the inevitable. Win or lose that game....this is not going to end well for us with Fonseca.
As for Liverpool having much better players than us.....I'm not so sure. Some are better, sure. But NOT as much as the game showed. In the 2nd half, at 3:1 they had 19 attempts to our 2. That should never happen. Not with the players on the field. Man City also has better players than Inter. But they didn't play them off the park today and we all know the score.
We need a different coach. Seems our genious management made the wrong choice when so many were available.

Fonseca getting fired is a given, but I have major concerns about who they are going to bring in to replace him. They liked Fonseca because he is a yes man. Now that the yes man didn't work out, would they go and get someone who would demand things done their way, like a Sarri or Tuchel? Or are they just going to find another yes man? these analytics driven front offices love to run things their way and hire some yes men coaches who just do they are told.
My two requirments for a new manager: Whoever picked Fonseca shouldn't pick our next coach and we get a coach which has handled a big team (Sarri, Tuchel) and not coaches who may not handle that kind of pressure (Terzic, Concecaio).
I'm in disbelief that Fonseca's Milan looks this bad. There is a feeling of rot in this team. I'm not sure the manager may fix it. I think a new/stronger sporting director is needed in addition to getting rid of a star or two (Maignan, Theo, Leao).
