Flamingo seems to be realllyy good with the ball. Quite honestly, as crazy as it sounds....we need a ball playing defender. We have a bunch of physical "brutes" in the backline....but none of them can play with the ball. I'm tired of the CBs passing the ball between themselves 18 times before attempting to go vertical. Defenders need to know how to defend, first and foremost. I get that. But in a lot of the games in Serie A, we'll be facing a wall of 10 players behind the ball. We need someone in the backline that can move the ball quickly vertically.

Yes I completely agree with that. Thiaw was our only defender capable to playing the ball. Not sure how good De Winter’s distribution is but we need a Bonucci type defender.
