Milan are now trying to find Yacine Adli a new club, talking to Al Shabab FC, Greek and Turkish teams. According to Footmercato in France, the main option is Saudi Pro League side Al Shabab FC, as there are advanced negotiations between the two clubs. However Adli is by no means convinced of this destination and would prefer another alternative.
I used to really like Bennacer. I thought he had great tools to build on and was really hoping he'd be our regista for a long time. But he never kept improving and then injuries did a number on him. Then, after being injured for months, he was finally at a place of health where he could train to get in shape and help the club (that pays for his bread). Instead, he wasn't fully recovered and was in awful physical shape, but went to AFCON anyway and got injured again. I think that's where the relationship with Milan deteriorated. Once he went to Marseille, he talked shit about the club too, and at that point, there was no coming back.
Little did he know, Marseille couldn't wait to get rid of him and they never planned on signing him.
He really IS a rat!!!
It is understandable if a player frustrated about long injuries and the behavior is badly affected. But not to the point of critize the club that pay him (plus nursing him) for nothing.
Avoiding Boniface is a good decision. Maybe a mutual termination for Bennacer next season, too.
Calciomercato: Lausanne are expected to finalise the signing of Vos in the coming hours. An agreement has been reached with Milan for a loan with an option to buy, meaning it could be a permanent departure in the end.
Another in the long list of useless Moncada signings.
Newcomers (10): Ricci, Modric, P. Terraciano, Estupiñán, Jashari, De Winter, Athekame, Nkunku, Rabiot, Odogu
Gone (26): Vos, Bennacer, Musah, Chukwueze, Jimenez, Okafor, F. Terraciano, Lazetic, Thiaw, Liberali, Colombo, Royal, Vasquez, Pobega, Sportiello, Theo, Reijnders, Kalulu, Pellegrino, Jovic, Abraham, Walker, Felix, Sottil, Florenzi, Morata
Studying abroad (5): Camarda, Zeroli, Comotto, Bondo, Magni
GK (3): Maignan, P. Terraciano, Torriani
Defender (8): Gabbia, Tomori, Pavlovic, De Winter, Odogu, Bartesaghi, Estupiñán, Athekame
Midfielder (6): Ricci, Jashari, Modric, Fofana, Cheek, Rabiot
Attacker (5): Leao, Pulisic, Gimenez, Nkunku, Saelemaekers
Signings like Vos are not a problem imo. Low risk, high (potential) reward. Even if 1 out of 10 of those works out, it's success. Until this summer, our success rate on these types of signings was very low. And I say "until this summer" because i also put Thiaw in this bucket of transfers.....along with the likes of Lazetic, Pellegrino, Vos.
Every club makes these types of transfers. Unfortunately, ours are in the 3-7m bucket. Real Madrid, Chelsea, City, etc...."gamble" with a lot more. We'll see what happens with Athekame and Odogu this time around.

What we should do is having a plan to "up-price" the player.
Kerkez should have been sold with much higher price after some senior matches.
Simic should also be sold for bigger money, if we compare to how much we've paid for Odogu. As Nottingham were intersted in him just after the preseason match against Real, his price must be increased after some senior matches and a goal.
Jimenez is a good "up-price" case, but our plan was to use him.

Adli on his way to Saudi league. Will more than triple his salary to €7m. Have not seen a transfer fee yet.
Edit: Transfer fee is €8m. Not bad.
We've said goodbye to this team
Sportiello
Jimenez, Kalulu, Thiaw, Theo
Bennacer, Reijnders
Chukwueze, Felix, Okafor
Morata

But guess who remains for another year...
Tuttosport: Milan have not managed to reach an agreement with Divock Origi regarding the termination of his deal. After initial discussions, negotiations stalled due to the player’s resistance to receiving a favourable fee – essentially a pay-off.
