He is one of the biggest professionals around a deep will keep himself fit, for sure. But he can't be a starter. We have to aim higher and look to the future. We can't consider ourselves a serious contender for anything if a 41 year old is the fist name on the team sheet. We talk about Europe's elite a lot. But there is a reason why Modric was playing only as a 2nd half sub in his last year at Madrid. And there is a reason he ultimately left. He can't do it at that level for a full season anymore. So why are we going to rely on him as a starter??? Get him in the squad, sure. Use him sparingly, sure. But that should be it.

Completely agree. This is also the reason why Italian football is in the state it is. Over reliance on old players instead of looking and putting trust in the future. Give the minutes to Jashari and Ricci instead beside Rabiot.

Agree on Modric. I like him a lot for the player he was and for the person he is, but there's a time for everything. His time as a starter should be over.

We have offered €25m + €2m bonuses for Mario Gila. Lazio's request is €30m.

Gila is arriving. We increased our bid to near €30m and it was accepted.

I must admit I can't remember seeing him play a lot.

How good is he? We happy?

He’s one of the best defenders in Serie A and only 25. Automatically the first name on our game sheet for defenders.

Let's hope you're right. AI does not completely agree though.

Tomori rejects newly promoted Coventry. Holding out for more tempting opportunities.

Maybe PL clubs are no longer interested in spending on a washed Englishman.
Forza Diavolo ale!!!

I think Brahim Diaz could be a key player under Amorim. He is playing a great World cup now, and has all the attributes Amorim is looking for. He knows Serie A, will not be to expensive and will come back as clearly more mature player.

Attack with Pulisic- Diaz behind Ramos is not to badSmile.
