Santos sacrificed their glorious female football team (and fussal team, IIRC) to pay Neymar's wage. If they win no trophy (now), the financial burden can lead to a sale. This is more likely than a big buy.

I never said that they were rich either. I just said that they wanted to have many stars. Just like Berlusconi who wanted Milan to beat Barcelona and beat them in a beautiful style too, but didn't feel like spending one penny.
