Summer mercato 2012
I think 4mil each is a fair price for both of them. Not every club is as cheap as Milan.

4 mil for Taiwo maybe i would agree. 4 million for Messbah is an exaggeration dont you think. I wished we could but then that has to be some team really who would pay that kind of money to get the best LB in the world.

As mentioned by tim_milan, I don't understand how you rate Mesbah at 4M. Maybe a wishful thinking, but sorry, not to be taken seriously.
MILAN! MILAN! SOLO CON TE!
MILAN! MILAN! SEMPRE PER TE!
OR maybe 5.5 for Taiwo and 2.5 for Mesbah. Point is, I think both of them could be sold at a total of 8mil.
Seems like we've found our last midfielder for next season?

Another season with limited creativity from our midfield.

We bought Mesbah for less than 1M with contract until June 2016, while we got Taiwo for free with contract until June 2014. The transfermarkt website suggests that their value are around 1M for Mesbah and 5M for Taiwo, but even with their mid to long term contracts I doubt that we can get 5M for both players.

If true, I can imagine Galliani will play hard ball and lower his offer to 1,5M for two seasons Grinundwech

Can't say I've ever been that convinced by Veloso. He's not a bad player, but there's nothing in particular that stands out about him to me.

Didac coming back is interesting. He never totally convinced me when he first joined (mind I only saw him in the one match vs Udinese), but his season at Espanyol can't be ignored.

Lots of news regarding the midfielder. Milannews has said Strootman remains an option, mostly due to our links with Raiola. Mostly though, we're after Real players it seems. Gazzetta says we're after Diarra, CDS thinks we're after Gago while Tuttosport says it's Sahin that we're after. According to milannews is the key Modric, who Mourinho apparently wants and if he gets him will let the others go as they're deemed surplus. The name that excites me most in the list is Sahin, but I'm not sure how he'd do with always sitting deep like MvB did.

Polish and Dutch media are apparently saying we're interested in Tyton (the Polish GK during the euros), who just so happens to play for PSV, where Strootman plays.

Lots of news should come out today about our youngsters on loan or in co-ownership, as it's co-ownership deadline day, with milannews shedding lots of light. I'll start with Luca Ghiringelli, who we co-own with Padova, but I think played with SPAL last season. His future is currently unknown.

Giacomo Berretta should remain on co-ownership for another year at Genoa and Comi, who was in primavera this season, is likely to go to Reggina on co-ownership.

Matteo Darmian, previously co-owned with Palermo is completely theirs, while Matteo Chinalletto, co-owned with Genoa will return to Milan.

Andrea De Vito, the fullback who played a little under Allegri, with stay another year at Citadella. El Shaarawy is 100% Milan, while Merkel should be 100% Genoa.

Wilfred Osuji, who I think is co-owned with Padova will continue as is. Nicola Pasini and Mario Samparisi I think both are 100% Genoa now, while I think we get Judilson Tuncara on co-ownership with Genoa.

Simone Romagnoli will continue at Pescara under Stroppa. Davide Speziale will probably go to Lecce (I think this was agreed as part of the Mesbah deal *sigh*).

Valoti has been fully redeemed by Milan, while Simone Verdi will continue to stay at Torino on co-ownership (I presume Oduamadi's the same).

Am I blind or there won't be a Berlusconi trophy this year?
The fact that we could be attracting Sahin or Gago is exciting in itself. However, I still feel we're taking on too many second grade players to fill first-grade player spots. The more years pass after our last CL victory, the more players with less quality we seem to attract. Sure Ibra was a solid signing and so was silva... but in all honesty you can only see Silva as a player with a future because Ibra is stopping in two years, if not one.
