Thiago Silva committed himself to the club and would have reached an agreement with Paris a few days after, f*ck him. And now, our close future is on the shoulders of Ibra ?! I'm not that happy, unless it was built from the start by Galliani and Berlu to make Ibra look like the good guy this time (refusing the offer, everything's cancelled, all fans are happy about Ibra).

The big worry is the kind of precedent this sets.
Say we buy players with the money we get (we won't) but say we do. What's to say we won't be selling them when they are stars?
We are officially a selling club if this comes true.
We are Arsenal, but worse--we don't own our own stadium.
stadium is an issue, but i hope we sort that out as soon as possible.. i just dont see it happening anytime soon buying san siro or building a new stadium will cost a lot of money, and if we were to buy san siro would that mean inter would have to pay us or give us a percentage of their revenue? I don't see it happening, and if they wanted to go their own way it would mean they would have to build their own stadium. If were in a crisis, what about inter. They make less revenue, in the same stadium circumstance as us, ontop of not having as rich of an owner (not that it's of great importance) yet I don't see inter or juventus continually stating how broke they are and the crisis in italy. if we're not going to buy players, i'd rather our management keep their mouths shut and stop making us look bad.

If the two guys leave, and then, we buy new players, and that's a big effort of imagination, but let's imagine we win CL next season, do you really think we will sell our players ?

Actually, Milan is maybe going to sell two "mercenaries" (Ibra is one, Thiago Silva could finally be one too) and maybe build a squad of players who bleed rosso e nero ...
About how we look because of what say X or Y in the club, it's not important, because actually, other clubs just don't read the sites like we do. We think we look bad, but other clubs just don't care. Just follow some other clubs as strongly as you do for Milan and you will notice, after a few months/years that the club looks bad because of what Z said or what the club did.

So we've apparently accepted PSGs offer for both players...
Berlu, Galliani and (especially) Thiago Silva will look like idiots if this goes through. I hate to see our club in this state, it's embarrassing.

How do you find players who bleed rosso e nero? Only players that come through our youth ranks and were brought up in Milano, going to every match with their fathers?
I mean, what happened to Thiago Silva? "I want to be a symbol of this club, I want to be like Maldini, I've never thought of leaving, It's only Milan for me". They are liars, they just say these things to earn a good contract. Neither the name of the club nor the colours of the shirt matters. They're all mercenaries, we were just lucky to have a couple of players like Maldini and Baresi.

Well, when you see a guy like Maxi Lopez for example, I think it's obvious he is a Milan fan ...
Some players like G.Rossi or Dzeko always said they were fans of our club ... If these guys had to come, and unless something's really going wrong in the club, I don't think they would leave the club after the first offer from another club.
We're still a big club, there are, in each country, some players who dream to play in Milan, and not only "mid-table team players".
PS : Maybe calling back some of our youth players too, yes, that is a solution too ... Looks like Ganz Jr and some other players are really talented, and the reports send them on loan in smaller clubs (but this time, Serie A clubs, not Serie B or less clubs).
PS Bis : The fact the oldies left is maybe the reason why they want to get rid of both stars, the club maybe doesn't trust Thiago Silva and Ibra as leaders in the locker room ??
If Thiago Silva leaves (there is nothing official as his agent has not come in Milan nor talked in the medias, unless he learned his lesson the last time and decided to shut his mouth just to make less noise ?) :
Ogbonna would be the first choice, Dédé the second choice and Astori (it could explain why he refused Moscow whereas it was almost done) the last one.
If Ibra leaves : we're linked with Tevez, Dzeko and Destro

I wouldn't mind having a bunch of players from our youth system, if they're good enough that would be perfect. The problem is that we loan all of them to crappy Serie B and even Serie C sides and we never see them again, they never get a proper chance here. Maybe this will change now that we don't have ten 38 year olds on the bench who take their places...
Maxi Lopez said the same things about Juventus when he was linked with them as he did about Milan. I just think he's a passionate type of guy who will do everything for his club, no matter if it's us or someone else.
I'm not so sure that those players you say dream of playing for Milan does so if they make half the money they could at another club. Hopefully I'm wrong... And hopefully we can find the players that really wants to play for us.

Ibra : 12M a year for 2 years
Cost for the club : 48M over 2 years
Thiago Silva : 6M a year for 5 years
Cost for the club : 60M over 5 years
Sale of the two players (rumours) : 65M
That means we would "save" 108M over 5 years (72M for the current season and the following one) and earn 65M by selling both players.
If then, we don't spend €€€, I don't understand !!
(anyway, if saving money is the goal of the operation, then we won't buy 3-4 players but just 2 players being paid less as if you take 4 players paid 4M a year with 4 year contracts, we don't save anything at the end !!)
The last report I read talks about the negotiations with PSG about Thiago Silva. It seems the club refused, not because they wanted to keep Thiago Silva, but because they wanted to get rid of Ibra and his high wages too, and found that solution "if you want Thiago Silva, it's ok, but take Ibra too".

I read some comments from the guy (directly on Italian sites). He actually replied a question of a journalist asking him if he could play in Juventus, and he replied he could do so if Milan doesn't want him ...
He's said many times during the last weeks that he was waiting Milan and that he'd wait to see what happens with the several rumours of a striker leaving the club.
Of course, it seems patience has some limits (maybe due to what the club made him do this Winter ?!  ) and he finally signed for Samp ... And if Ibra leaves at the end of the day, I think Maxi Lopez will be disappointed not to have waited one or to more days just to know if the club wouldn't want him back then.

IMO, that's two different things, that's why I didn't made an addition of both ...
The cost of the players on the next few years can explain why we agree to sell them and by taking new players who will be paid less, that will make some budget (transfers or others) higher the next years as our wage bill/budget will be lower.
The price of the player is pure profit for the club and can be used for many things : balance the books, transfers or increasing some budgets.
