Summer mercato 2012
I'm not sure what to think right now. All the rumours at the moment are with Ibra though, with Thiago not really being involved beyond his name splashed across all the press (no comments or viewings of the player or his agent and only Raiola's definitely being seen). I wouldn't be surprised if only Ibra's sold.

edit: Our situation is sad though, there's very little positive to take from this mercato so far.

Better still if Milan signed this player and then only sell Zlatan n Tiago which is unlikely. Anyway..the whole world of football know Milan is broke. Selling 2 of the club best player will only prove Milan is not a serious tittle contender.

Impossible : we can take two non-EU players. Gabriel, the new GK, is already one of them (it is said they try to give him a EU passport). So we can take only one non-EU player, and as a consequence, only one of Dzeko, Tevez, Dede and Kolarov ...

Last report : Ibrahimovic accepts to become a PSG player, but only if he can have a very big contract (more than 12M a year).
Ibra would have asked a 14M a year contract to PSG.

The agent of both Destro and Astori was in Milan at the end of this morning to meet Galliani ...

LOL, if we replace Silva and Ibra with Astori and Destro, respectively, we'll miss out on champions league for sure. I mean to replace a player like Ibra, who carries the whole team on his shoulders, with a young and unproven striker like Destro is ludicrous to say the least.

Actually, the Brazilian players involved in the Olympics asked the journalists not to talk about mercato at all ... Which could explain the silence of Thiago or his agent.

An hypothesis : maybe the agreement he had a few weeks earlier is still on course, waiting to see what will happen now (so no need to negotiate again, an agreement was reached 1-2 weeks ago, it shouldn't have changed).

EDIT : On TMW, they just reported a few seconds ago that the agreement reached in June is still available ...

Why doesn't Galliani come out from his shell and say we're selling Ibra and Thiago, and finally end this nightmare of a summer. I can't take this bullsh1t anymore, if you plan to sell them do it already, don't play with our feelings every week.
One thing I'm wondering is if Ibra is actually the only player involved in this deal. Raiola is in Paris, but there are really no signs that Silva will leave, besides newspaper speculations.

As someone already mentioned it, TS deal with PSG has already been negotiated few weeks ago, so there's no need to do it again...

They won't buy Ibra for 65M ...
And about Thiago Silva, like I wrote, the agreement reached a few weeks ago is probably still available ...

But I still don't understand why were all those shenanigans with Silva signing a new contract, if he was to leave a week later.
Contract extension only a smokescreen? Big Grin

Btw wasn't the price 45 mil euros for Silva? Silva has extended his contract so his price now should be then higher than 45 mil euros?

65 mil euros seems little for both Silva and Ibrahimovic.

Don't you see the excuse coming ?
We renewed Silva, but we couldn't manage to pay these wages over the years, so we decided to accept to sell him. We made a financial effort (for 2 weeks) but it wasn't a sustainable situation ...
