Keep in mind that if we actually do have these € 100 mln to operate with and buy players for that sum, we will still amass big wages and we are back in the red. Really the sum we more realistically have to use for actual transfers is € 30-50, which is better than nothing of course.

Nocerino will be the Gerrad of Milan and Italy, Constant will show he is better than Essien, Monty will be a hybird of Pirlo/MVB, Flamini will somehow start playing like Cesc, Tarore will be the new Veira/Davids and Ambro will start passing like Beckham. RObinho will not only start scoring but he will actually be the leaders of goals in Serie A, SES will become Kaka, and Pato will be injury free and scores at least a goal per game.

yeah but his salary is 4mln. you cant count everything double. by the way, and correct me if i'm wrong, the taxes in italy are 50% and not 100%.

50% of 8m is 4m. 8m is the gross pay, 4m is the take-home net pay. when calculating the cost for the club, 8m is the appropriate amount.

yeah but isnt gross pay calculated based on net pay, and not the other way around?
milan and mexes agreed on 4m salary, taxes are 50% (2mln) so the total (gross) would be 6.

Do not blame Galliani or Braida for this MEGA Transfer. They have to obey the orders/Policies coming from FININVEST.
The Italian economy is in it's worst time. This will have effect also on sponsors. Fininvest had to pay that enormous sum of money due to the Montadori case, so Galliani is doing a great job.
He has to built a competitive team when the club financial situation is around 70 mils in red and no money are coming from the MOTHER company.
If Milan keeps Ibra and Silva without buying more key players still remains without trophies, so it is better to sell them now.
Price tag plus salaries is estimated around 170 Mls.
Reduce the 70 Mls in red, and Galliani will have 100 Mls to operate in this mercato and even next to built a very good young base of a team. (He can do miracles with money in his hand)
Then in future when the Italian economy stands again on its feet Milan can buy TOP players again to chalenge for Champions League again.

I heard the 70Mls in red was for this year only, in total, we have like 250Mls in the red....
The total 170Mls would be used to pay off all the debt and we would still have 80Mls to pay off soon enough.
Thing is, theres no money to spend. Period. And without our two best players, then we are less likely to make up for all that red. If anything, things will be worse next season once we miss out on everything we possibly can for a second straight year. 
We got the young 'un's. We take out big gunz 
wow looks like this whole silva ibra saga wasn't fake after all.. I'd be seriously disappointed if we don't go out and buy 3-4 wc players now.

The salary is 4 mln net for the player, not 4 mln gross. So Milan pays 8 mln, Mexes gets 4, 4 goes to the tax office.
